howling

From the hidden cavern
In the dark Passover
Penned in the deepest well
Alone dreaming emotion

Caught up in another space
Awakening senses
I catch a star
Shooting
from the dust

In a moonlit sky
Wishing upon a dream
Arms entwined
Holding the world
Mine fall around

Casting golden feelings
Drawing from the smile
In sparkling devotion
Silently speaks
Calling in loving eyes

Melting to the deepest feeling
Flowing in thirst
In the softest texture
I drink
in the toast

Upon the crown
on the throne you sit
Within a heartbeat
A very special
soul

So beautiful
I dreamed
A wish
on that
moonlit
Night

mystic rose

Oh mystic rose
magically blooming flowers
enchants within
one mind
opening up softly
from the heart
happiness salted
from ocean dew
sweetly dripping joy
golden honeydew kisses

Petals unfolding
holding beauty
in her loving cup
feelings velvet soft
caressing emotions
touching deeply
tenderly speaking
in a whispering voice
echoes endearing

Flying on wings
silently fluttering
a beautiful fragrance
breathing upon
the soul
landing beautiful
in one sweet aroma
adoring love

Which One?

We meet at the abandoned house at the end of the block.
Where no one ever goes.
A haunting, forbidding place where demons are said to live.
I see you, standing there, so pale and beautiful.
And I wonder which one of you I will be with tonight?

Will it be the angel, so pure and innocent?
A kind, gentle lover, so willing, so giving.
The compassionate one, the fulfillment of all my dreams.
The one that takes me places I've never gone before.

Or will it be the witch, so wicked and knowing?
A wild, demanding lover, so free, so devious.
The passionate one, the fulfillment of all my fantasies.
The one that takes me to places I never dared think of.

I know better than to ask which one you will be tonight.
For you may be one, you may be the other.
Or you may be both at the same time.

Walk in the Forest

A light snow falls as we walk through the forest
There is no sound but the sound of our footsteps
A white blanket covers the ground around us
So stark, so pure, so beautiful
Colors around us stand out in the overcast
And it's as if we are the only people in the world.

We pause for a moment, taking in the silence
We drink it in, savoring the stillness and the peace
The cool air surrounds us, envelopes us
Wrapping itself around us like a blanket
The forest seems to go on forever
The two of us lost in its vastness and its beauty.

I feel the touch of your hand in mine
Your warmth like a fire in the chill of the day
I turn to you and look into your beautiful eyes
No words are spoken, none are needed
For this moment, and this moment alone, we are here
Two souls, alone together in the snow.

empires fall in love

Casting my net
stirring waters
turning over stones
shines behind
the brain
love over centuries
storms across
the sands

Blowing deeply
daisies fluttering
inside deeper
than the skeleton
i speak
out from
my soul

In an
arid desert
blinding oasis
echoing beauty
blowing whispers
whistling beats
floating your words
just keep
bringing sunshine
into my life
it amazes me

With your honey
sweet speaking bees
golden honey
laughs out lights
upon the face
as my heart
shines out

Trying
to dazzle
you with good
tasting sweet
your beauty
in my eyes
sparkling bursts

only a lion
roaring in
the jungle
of his life
through the eyes
of centuries
i am hot

On your tail
sparkling stars
from the pyramids
i want
to be your
Mark Anthony
as you honey
go back
in time
Cleopatra
Egyptian Princess
queen of
the Nile

Grasping out
into the ages
to great Helen
of Troy
her beauty
was beyond compare

So the legend
has it
launch one
thousand ships
the might and force
of an entire empire
so powerful
a feeling

Great empires
built in
such force
could fall
when a man
is head
over heels
truly loves
a woman

Frog prince

twinkle
twinkle
my little star
your shining
the brightest
of all stars

from loves heaven
you do speak
singing enchanting
so very softly
caressing in the deepest
floating one
into the clouds

i am your dust
sweet caster sugar
blowing beautiful on you
sprinkling
in the softest
of feelings

floating among'st the stars
they would wink to you
in a wishing trail
in a scattering
of magic dust
the moon smiles down

on such a beautiful face
blushing roses
hold the colour
in the scent
divine upon
the skin

lavender coloured words
melting sweet
smelling jasmine
warm blowing
a summer breeze
in the mind

speaking ever so softly
whispering to you
in the daisies
making for you a chain
i blow upon the wings
of a butterfly

my lips flutter
kissing a bouquet
princess
gentle landing
emotion
in happiness
a teardrop

a butterfly kiss
i blew it from the stars
passed the smiling moon
it landed on you
a planet

a fairy princess
from the frog
standing out
you do beautiful
in venus

Who knows?

Take me today for what I am.
What I am today, tomorrow I may not be.
And who can say which I
Will be the best and which the worst?

NO INTENTIONS

I HAD NO INTENTIONS OF FALLING IN LOVE,
I'D BEEN THERE BEFORE AND KNEW WHAT IT WAS.
ALL I WANTED WAS AN EMAIL PAL,
NOTHING SERIOUS, JUST A FRIENDLY GAL.
ONE I COULD TALK TO AND DISCUSS MY PLANS
ABOUT EVERYDAY PROBLEMS AND ITS DEMANDS.
TELLING EACH OTHER ABOUT FAMILY CONCERNS,
OR WHAT KIND OF WOOD YOUR FIREPLACE BURNS.
WHAT WAS THE MOVIE LAST NIGHT YOUR KIDS SAW,
AND HOW WAS YOUR VISIT WITH YOUR EX-MOTHER IN LAW?
THESE EVERY DAY THINGS ARE HOW WE MUST LIVE,
ABLE TO IGNORE THINGS AND LEARN TO FORGIVE.
NEVER REALIZING WHAT IS HAPPENING - EVER-SO-SLY,
BUT CERTAIN FEELINGS HAVE ME WONDERING WHY.
WHY? WHY AM I AT THE COMPUTER EXPECTING A WORD,
WANTING TO KNOW WHAT SHE HAS HEARD.
AND IF I DON'T HEAR,I START TO WORRY,
I AM SO EAGER-I WANT HER TO HURRY!
ARE THESE INDICATIIONS I'M BEGINNING TO FALL?
AS I STATED ,I HAVE NO INTENTIONS, NONE AT ALL.
I HAVE MY GUARD UP, AND I'M READY TO FIGHT,
I WON'T SUCCUMB TO THIS CREEPING PLIGHT.
THEN - THEN I LEARN SHE TOO, IS AFFECTED -
THAT, IS SOMETHING I HAD NEVER SUSPECTED !
UNTIL I RECEIVED A LETTER SAYING,"I LOVE YOU",
I AM SO RELIEVED, BECAUSE I FEEL THAT WAY TOO.

Hearts Canvas

This blank canvas which is my heart,
now empty and needs to be redrawn,
it needs a little fire for a start,
to stop it feeling so forlorn,

A tender hand to hold that brush,
to mix that flow of delight,
taking it slow do not rush,
giving me colour make my heart bright,

Paint in the flame of desire,
make these arteries pump,
make my blood pressure higher,
your oils will fill this hearts sump,

Using your coloured fingers to strum,
creating the tune to this heartbeat,
do it right and yours I will become,
you will then feel the love of this hearts heat.

bouquet treasure

in so much colour
wrapped in one tune
plays enchanting music
upon a tin whistle
dancing upon ripples
whistling pipes
played within
the ocean
a boat
sailing calm waters
coming ashore

out of the shadows
of oneself
i seek
the answers
in darkness
calling for light
brushing the dark
a silver mist
sunshine sparking
within two eyes
a candle held
lighting one soul

oh colourful beauty
rainbows one treasure
shining bright
upon mist
i found
at a rainbow end
one promise
made to love
is the light
of you
