England, my honoured service dun,
freed from servitude, I fly, I run
to that gentle earth, that verde antique,
my native isle, its praise to seek,
to stroll along her arcades green
and meet again my Goddess queen,
obsolescent dreams yield to hopeful sighs
by the welcoming dews of paradise,
where jeweled bride of night appear,
amid celestial diadems consistent sphere,
where stars like sequins spread,
translate mysteries of love are read,
creative heaven sires to bring,
love lit flowers of perpetual Spring,
amid those realms, altruism concur
the truth of virtue that honours her.

About this poem:
Having spent two and a half years in the Egyptian desert, I at last could return home to England, hence the poem.

I may not ever be, all you desire,
I may not give you all you'll ever need,
I have not as yet worn the knights attire,
Am I then somehow less than once perceived?
So you play role of damsel in distress,
and I play him that seemeth not to care,
but with one look, one kiss, one soft caress,
remove the ill from mind and tension spare.
I am the thing you crave despite charade,
I speak a language makes your body weak,
your wish is my command I will obey,
'til valleys peak as we lay under sheets.
I am what you need no less, just enough,
'til you reach highest crest and whisper love.

Theres always something you dont know
about the one you so love.
For that I think that we,
should thank the One above.
As long as there are things
the we dont know
the road never ends
new places to go.
The things that we share
together each day.
We see each other,
In a whole different way.
I want to know her
inside and out.
I need to know
what shes all about.
I hope we search each other
from now to the end.
If I had had to do it
I would do it again.

Im a hopeless romantic,i know it so let it be
Buying roses, chocolates, ultra sensitive condoms and all types of jewellery
Get a whiff of her perfume, then im smitten
Hoping for cuddles and kisses without getting bitten
She awaits me at the resturant table, her beauty illuminated by a nearby lamp
But after snowballing coke for three days,i arrive dressed like a tramp.
Her thinly veiled anger i find quite charming
But the way she assaults me is severely alarming
Men will never understand women and the rules of attraction
I ponder this to myself, while in hospital bound up in traction.

Before you want to judge me or my life,
put on my shoes and walk my way through run
the streets, mountains and valleys, feel the grief experience
the pain and the joy. go through the years
I went, stumbling over every stone about which I
stumbled, get up again and go exactly
the same route on ....... just as I
was doing.
And THEN you can judge ...

oh goodnight
baby wishing you
most beautiful
of dreams
a vacation
upon beautiful island
calls on paradise
sparkling sun shining
landing on beautiful
palm trees tropical
dazzling you
on the beach
where a moon
blushes pink
kissing oceans waves
curling around
holding beautiful
in the deep
hugging and kissing you
into my dreams

Don't taste my lips
unless it's my lips you are kissing
don't pretend
i am the one you are missing
don't press them against mine
then pull away with a half distant smile.
Don't grip my hair between your fingers
unless it's me you want closer and near
don't whisper words of love and want
unless you know its me... not her.
Don't unbotton or undress me
don't lay your hands where i yern your touch
unless its me you are caressing
and not the one that didn't need you so much.
Don't lay me down beside you
to enjoy skin upon..against skin
don't wrap yourself or sink within me
if i'm not the one your really with.
Don't moan unless its our pleasure
don't... i can't take it anymore
i hear in your voice loud whispers of sadness
for her.. the one your longing for.
Don't.. i say this to you everytime
yet you convince me as you always do
not because you are believable
but because i long to be loved, by noone but only you.

opening inside windows
reflections within
sharing a beautiful view
looking through
one naked eye
birds singing to
a beautiful
spring morning sunshine
golden glory
gleaming one treasure
every so sweetly
snowdrops touch
last of the harsh
winter signs
mourning her departure
flowering white beau
saying goodbye
cold moon
living reminder
in spring
legacy of
her beauty
wafting scent
of primroses lingering
floating above ground
one beautiful aroma
into the mind scent
another world
brings such softness
upon a warm
yet gentle breeze
caressing hovers
heartbeats echo
in a deep
loving breeze
blowing over
you my dream

The Poet & Her Muse
The poet stands before the muse.
She's talking of love.
But the muse isn't hungry for love.
He wants to devour her.
He eats her knees,
her toes,
her breasts,
her eyes
& spits out
her words.
What does the muse want?
Words?
Metaphors?
A poet's soul..
That is what the muse wants.
She is naked before him.
Prose written on her thighs.
When she walks, sonnets divide
into octaves & sestets.
Couplets fall into place
when her fingers nervously toy
with the quill.
But the words
don't clothe her.
No amount of meter
& rhyme
can save her now.
There's no rune
big enough to hide in.
No Thesaurus,
no OED.
The muse isn't dumb.
He wants her soul.
Once he might have taken her
smile in a neat couplet.
But now
he needs her blood.
He has eaten the poet.
She's gone now.
Nothing remains
but a page out of print.
She's past our helping.
Perhaps she's part of the muse.

pouring one drink
from life's cup
sharing a lovers toast
uncorking feelings
foaming it whirls
melting liquid pearls
flowing down
sweet sparking emotions
bubbling inside
bursting deeply
sweet tasting stars
exploding senses
a quenching thirst
heart's desire
fluttering passion
fizzy cool waves
bathing love
again'st walls
a celebration
leaving you beautiful
coursing through
the veins
drunken sighs
intoxicating each beat
champagne pleasure
swooning overflowing
in the spirit
of earthly happiness
a soul sings
adoring heartfilled
with you my love
floating inside joy
