Merry Christmas Daddy

If I could hold your hand just one more time
If I could see your face, so dear,
I would tell you Merry Christmas Daddy
'Cause Christmas time is here
I would have you put the lights up
(That is something only Daddy's do)
And put the angel on top of the tree
Then, Daddy, your job is through
Sit yourself down now and relax
While we decorate the tree
And off and on throughout the night
Maybe I'll sit upon your knee
The fire is going, don't worry Daddy
We promise not to let it get too high
Snow is coming, it'll be a white Christmas
Just take a look at that cloudy sky
Here's a plate for you Daddy
And ,oh, the aroma it brings
It's your favourite, mincemeat tarts
And they were made fit for a king
But most of all Daddy, as I kneel by your side
I would tell you how very much I love you
And how you fill my heart with pride.

About this poem:
One very lonely day during the holidays the first year without either of my parents I found myself writing this and one for Momma. A little sappy - what can I say :)

The Little Boy I Knew

What happened to that little boy I knew?
Someone please tell me where he went to!
For now a father stands in his place
With happiness written all over his face.
Where is he, that little boy I love?
That happy cherub sent from above.
He's grown so tall yet still I see
That little boy who means so much to me.
How have all those years gone by?
Someone please tell me why oh why,
Everything changes, everyone too,
What happened to that little boy I knew?
Where can he be, that gullible little tyke?
With a head of curls and a smile of delight,
He looks no more for sky hooks of blue,
But the curls are still there, and the smile too.
But what did he say last night on the phone?
A child was born, a son of his own!
Is this possible? Oh how can it be?
For he's still my little brother, you see.
The years have gone by, oh, much too fast
I've heard it said anything good can't last
But that can't be right, it must be wrong.
Oh, where have all those years gone?
I smile, as back through the years I go
Remembering the little boy that I loved so,
But now there's another cherub sent from above,
Another little boy to cherish and love.
Happiness is his in the gift of life.
He has a son and he has a wife,
He has a baby to love and hold,
A gift more precious than silver or gold.
But wait a minute! For now I see
That little boy who means so much to me,
He just grew up with the changing times,
Still he'll always be that little brother of mine.
He's still there, my brother who means so much to me
Standing tall and proud for all the world to see.
With a child in his arms, and a wife by his side,
He fills my heart with love and pride!

DREAM OF LOVE

DREAM OF LOVE

In the land of this world
With sacred places and hidden valleys,
Live my dream, charming Lady my Queen.
Her sparkling magic eyes,
Look deep into my eyes
And open my heart toward Light and Love.
I know that this is a dream,
So please wake me up
And take me in your dream love embrace,
Unite with me in magic dance
And liberate me into your Love again.
And never wake me up again
And never wake me up again
My Love, o my Love.

In the land of this world
With sacred places and hidden valleys,
Live my dream, charming Lady my Queen.
Her gentle smiling face
With the sign of divine,
I always see before my eyes.
I know that this is a dream,
So please wake me up
And take me in your dream love embrace,
Unite with me in magic dance
And liberate me into your Love again.
And never wake me up again
And never wake me up again
My Love, o my Love.

In the land of this world
With sacred places and hidden valleys,
Live my dream, charming Lady my Queen.
Her beautiful body perfectly dressed
Appears like living Goddess on earth,
I admire and worship and keep in my heart.
I know that this is a dream,
So please wake me up
And take me in your dream love embrace,
Unite with me in magic dance
And liberate me into your Love again.
And never wake me up again
And never wake me up again
My Love, o my Love.

In the land of this world
With sacred places and hidden valleys,
Live my dream, charming Lady my Queen.
Her heart of Love is bright like the sky
I fly with you my mystic Lady,
Through endless ocean of Light & Love.
I know that this is a dream,
So please wake me up
And take me in your dream love embrace,
Unite with me in magic dance
And liberate me into your Love again.
And never wake me up again
And never wake me up again
My Love, o my Love.

In the land of this world
With sacred places and hidden valleys,
Live my dream, charming Lady my Queen.
O magical being of my heart,
Manifesting goddess of Light and Love
Life force of divine,
Unite with me and stay with me forever.
I know that this is a dream,
So please wake me up
And take me in your dream love embrace,
Unite with me in magic dance
And liberate me into your Love again.
And never wake me up again
And never wake me up again
My Love, o my Love.
My Love, o my Love.

The Coat Hanger

Let's travel back in time to 1928, the place is Sydney (Australia)
The local government wanted to create a harbour crossing from
the North to South of Sydney, architects were brought in to
draw up plans for it's conception, there were suspension bridges
like the Brooklyn Bridge and the Golden Gate, but were turned
down however, they decided to make a single span arch bridge
similar to the railway bridge in Pennsylvania USA, they started
the build in 1928 and over a period of four years the Sydney
Harbour bridge became a reality, made of steel and the blood
and sweat of men some who died during it's construction. This
bridge was unique in design, It had a large single arch, capable
of rail, tram and motor vehicles, with two walkways either side
of the bridge deck, it had four magnificent sand stone pylons.
In 1932 the bridge was opened twice, firstly by a soldier on
horseback named DeGroot who slashed the ceremonial ribbon
with his sword, he opened the bridge in honour of the people
of NSW, however the ribbon was replaced and opened officially
by the State Labor Governor Jack Lang who cut the ribbon with
ceremonial ornamental scissors, then they removed the
locomotives which had been used to test the bridge for strength,
shortly thereafter the bridge was opened for use by commuters.
Before that happened the gathering crowds were permitted to
walk the entire length of the bridge, when this had been completed
the first train and motor vehicles travelled across the bridge. Sydney had a brand new bridge, 'The Bridge of Dreams' or as it
became famous for years later 'The Coat Hanger', this bridge
had been built during Sydney's depression years, it still
remains today an icon to all.

Great Lakes Meteor 5/23/2012

Violent green drop of Jupiter
Burning neon in the Mothers breath.
Blessing the night of this reveler
The bearing of this Gemini upon the Earth.
Luna waxing near the path
The "Panspermian" mote's essence dazzled
Searing elation into all that espied.
A scar of felicity brands my spirit
With a joyous aching that will burn brighter than Apollo
And 'til I sleep in Gaya's arms.

it's about time to start the healing

well long lost love its been eight years since we last said I love you. I should have just jumped off a building, it would have been a lot cleaner and less painful. I know your remarried, the smile on your face and look in your eyes are the same ones I used to receive. I can only pray that I receive someone I can love and give everything I took away from you that day. I know I made the choice, I just wish you would have made me talk to you. I only wanted to make you happy for the rest of your life. Looks like I succeeded only the jokes on me. As I write this and the tears become oceans at my feet, I can only hope you'll eventually forgive me. Forgiveness is the only cure I know of that may take this pain away. I know I've got VIP treatment waiting for me in heaven, because since you left it's been a burning hell. Every new day adds fuel to the fire and my heart breaks all over again. So as the sun comes up and I watch people awake and stir around. I'm reminded that the pain is starting all over again and will only hurt worst as the day burns off. You should be right here next to me while I soak in your beauty. I can only picture your husband doing the thing I used to. Yep the jokes on me, I can hear the jester's laughter, as he entertains himself with my pain.

please let this stop

That's True Love...

Awesome Story Must Read. . . .

Husband comes home drunk and breaks some crockery,
vomits and falls down on the floor...
Wife pulls him up and cleans everything.

Next day wen he gets up he expects her to be really angry wid him....
He prays that they should not have a
fight..

He finds a note near the table...

"Honey..your favorite breakfast is ready on the table,
i had to leave early to buy grocery...
i'll come running back to you, my love.
I love you. "

He gets surprised and asks his son..,

'what happened last night..?

Son told...

"when mom pulled you to bed and tried removing your boots and shirt..you were dead drunk and you said......

"Hey Lady! Leave Me Alone...I am Married !!!..."

That's True Love...

SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND

First Written: 7th January 1997
Published in hard back book “Light of The World” and also recorded on “Poetry To Music” via The International Library of Poetry Autumn 1997.

When in Life you feel in total despair and the pain inside seems too much to bear, STOP!,
and think for just a while of how beautiful is the fragrance and colours of the flowers we see,
Trees brought to life by the wind that blows, the glisten of the white crystals so delicate when it snows.

The sunshine giving warmth and the light in the day,
Little animals contented and happy at play.
Rivers that flow and the seas rushing tide, woods and fields spreading so far and wide, hills and mountains reaching so high like strangely shaped giants towards the open sky.

Your family and friends there to lend a helping hand, the rich colour of the golden sand.
There are all of these things and so much more for you and I and for us all.

Life is a Novel

At each day we rise we get to write a new page
Discovering what is most alive in us and releasing it to others
During the day we contribute to each others novel
Challenged by life’s ups and downs we write our stories
As the day wares on we get to turn the page
We pen thoughts in conversation and in actions too
Speak with a listening ear of that you have heard or seen
Our version of the news will get the story out
Life is flowing through our hearts with words like a well written script
Don’t be in a rush to be a hero when all you need is common sense
We cannot detach or ignore wisdom, even in its simplest form
Don’t let fear be your failure; your mind is an eraser so plot it out
At the end of the day when your story is written close the book and start again tomorrow
