ttom500: We just prefer to defend the country, rather than give it away. War, itself is pretty nasty business. That only the best trained and equiped should engage in. Hence one of our complaints on President Obama.
Juan ...did you see Iran is placing a monkey into space. In the past every American President since LBJ has placed a man into space. That was until President Obama came long......

America is a fabulous country because of good hearted people like you lady... All respect and admiration from me
My deepest thoughts for all those absolutely inoncent human beings who parished because of a group of savage and none human terrorists in that sad day in America and also for your dear friend... I am so sorry
You're very welcome, Dude. Just before the first Gulf War ended and my Army unit was due to be shipped back to the US, I suffered a stroke. My two friends that I had lost on 9/11 found me unable to move after it had happened and they carried me to the medical tent. They stayed with me until the doctors shooed them out to get some sleep. I was able to garble that I loved them and would see them soon, then was I sent first to Germany, then to the US to heal. It took me two years to re-learn how to walk and talk again. I was medically retired from the Army. My friends and I kept in touch and we got together whenever we could- marriages, children, camping trips, etc.... We were as close as brothers and sisters could be.
Losing them both on the same day was a terrible blow. I truly Thank God that I had the training to be able to help people that day. I had made a promise to myself that when I healed from my stroke that I would pass on helping others.
I have a small ranch here in Texas and I also work as a Detective for local law enforcement. I see a lot of people being unkind to each other every day and always try to pass on kindness to others.
