MN Governor Tim Plawney is tasking the President on his Arab Spring response. Saying it was slow, ineffective, and not in the principles of our country.
Ah....maybe good Governor is on to something.
Let us face it. As Tunasia and Egypt broiled in riots and civil protest...what we heard from the White House....was....'you all play nice over there and don't get hurt'.
Instead of stepping in and promoting Democracy and Freedom in the countries, the Obama administration was trading with Qdaffi. Was hand wringing over the Mubarrak's departure. Was trying to figure out if the Muslim Brotherhood was playing a role.
That kind of placed them out of the loop and into second place behind Iran. That knew that these were Shia sect protests, knew the Muslim Brotherhood was involved, and knew that alQeada was involved as well (all those Obama released prisoners from Iraq). None of which, our administration would say or seemed to know.
Today, with the Libya stalemate fixed firmly. They are fighting over a few feet of ground at a time. Anyone see this administration offering any solutions? This boy does not. While Qdaffi has to go....and is a wanted by the Hague......anyone see the UN stepping in to chase him down? Again this boy doesnot.
So in comparing this to GBW's Iraq. GWB had a UN manadate on Sadam Hussien and he acted on it. President Obama and NATO now have a Hague arrest warrant to grab Qdaffi with. But will not likely do anything about it.

President Obama made a great annonucement lately regarding begining of pulling out american troops as promissed and in his speech made sure that people know that, he beleives it is time to focus more on american issues and it is time to use more money on rebuilding the american economy and creating american jobs now when OBL finally is gone and the war in Afghaistan is begining to show better results for America and allies generally.
Involving some parts of afghan rebelions who are ready to stop violence and ready to begin cooporating with the afghan government and are ready to be one of the politcal parties over there instead of blowing up human beings is a good begining and no nody shall forget that the exact same have been happening in several countries and have worked for sure.
America or allies can never gain if staying in war for ever in Afghanistan or else where and wars and occupation keeps creating opposition and inoncent as well will be targeted by mistake and one time or another we got to leave and in the same time keeping an open eye toward that area and strike if necessary and now on days with all these fabulous tecnologies and military know how and so on... it is possible not to have troops on the ground and still making sure bad guys knowing we watch them and are not allowing them harming us all.
America and allies are definately waiting for their sons and daughters coming back home and starting over and being a part of rebuilding own countries and keep staying at war is no good for any body whom so ever.
Republicans began to talk a bout it is time for America pulling out from Afghanistan after the succesful mission against OBL, and now when the president have made this decision the same Republicans mouning and whinning a gainst the same!
