What do you talk about PREDOMIMINATELY when you first meet? (22)
I made up this poll because I found in many cases the woman wants to know my past history especially with women.
Questions concerning how long married, how long divorced, who caused it, how many relationships, what are you looking for now, how many kids, where do you work, like a job interview! I;m not saying these questions are wrong but are they appropriate on a fist meeting,
I now avoid those types of question and start by talking about travel experiences or something away from relationships. My focus is to find out if we relate and can converse comfortably and see if there is any chemistry! The past is the past and I let that go a long time ago!

I don't like to stick to just one subject...I like to talk about everything under the sun...something that interests us both...if happens to be about our lives good....but I find a mix of conversation better....

I kinda like to establish that they are in fact female first. Normally that would be a given, but in today's time, not so much.

I like to skip about with topics. However, I really dislike it when the other person goes into religion, relationships and money. Just makes my skin crawl, I always get the feeling that I being quized and that the wrong answer will send the date running for the hills.

I would go for travel experiences,outdoors experiences, football, cars, top gear, childhood, few question about family as I would know if the guy is family related. And if I really really really liked him ....I would kiss kiss and kiss so no space for crap conversation!!!

not really any of the above PREDOMINANTLY. I would just go with the flow... what got us to the date, what they are interested in , what i am, what their life is like, ditto.

Of course asking about the family is a plus. But my only intention behind that is finding out how local he is. I really don't want to shack up with someone's ex that I know/knew. I am not in a really small twon, but it is really scarey how people get around and how you meet those they got around with.
But, you know, I wouldn't do anything like that.
