The real problem with them countries is not the citizens. It is the corruption within business and government.

All the countries of Europe cheated to meet the entry criteria.
In France for example there was a "basket" of standard food items used to judge inflation. (Milk, bread, tomatoes, orange juice, flour, etc.)
France subsidized the items of the basket so that their prices did not go up during the years in which the economy had to be stable in order to meet the entry criteria for the Euro. But of course, as soon as France entered the Euro-zone all the subsidies stopped and all the items of the basket doubled in price. The Euro was always a scam. It has nothing to do with stabilizing the economy. It's a means of transferring power from national governments over to the unelected central European government. A step toward global government.

Not only should Bulgaria and Romania not be in the EU but the same should apply to nearly every Mediteranean state eg Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece etc. Its unpopular to say this but I do think Catholicism goes hand in hand with cultural tolerance as has been proven in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Ireland. (I know Greece is a mainly Orthodox country). I was brought up Catholic but hey the truth needs to be said.

Er, (hopefully I will not suffer a drone strike for asking this) didn't all the citizens of all the countries in the European Union get to vote on both, should we have one and join it, and, do we want them in it?

Corruption exists in all EU countries and religion has nothing to do with corruption. Percentage-wise it varies within the EU countries,less in northen EU countries and more in the Med countries.

Miscegeny is another obvious difference. Just take a look at Italy, the further south you travel through Italy the more mongrelised, corrupt and backward it becomes. Whereas the Norse lands are a communitarian utopia in comparison to southern Europe(or, indeed, in comparison to anywhere else on Earth).

YES they do !!! and whatever the sad sorry countries think about the UE currently, we sure will have a brilliant future through a magnificent Europe ! It will take much time to harmonize economics politics money tho, it is very hard to install a new order and new rules in this part of the World but, in the end, the goals are essential .. why not after all ??? will we let Russia and America continue to rule everything and decide everything in our place ???? I personally don't think so...
