I pick up after myself but every 2-3 weeks I have a housekeeper come in and do a through cleaning.

I'm probably overpaying at $125 for 1-hour each cleaning day. What do I know. They only charged $100 per 1-hour cleaning until I got a dog.

My mom always taught me to keep my place clean and in order.
I share houseworks with husband, because I think he is as well enough intelligent to understand how hoover works or what to do when dish washer or washing machine finish the process of cleaning.
I cook because I am a celiak and I prefer to eat only I am sure there is NO glutamen.
But cleaning windows, gardening, cleaning after painting and other "tough" jobs - I just hire a person to do that.

As for myself, alas no housekeeper and sometimes its tidier than other times. As my mom says, people come over to see you not your house.

I used to but found that she was not very good a tidying up. Also, she would mutter to herself while she was doing things - not sure if it was because she resented the work or that she was a bit loose in the head.
Anyway, I don't have one now, so I have to do all of the housework instead.
However, I am open to offers, if someone has that condition that makes them compelled to clean constantly, (FOC) give me a call.
