Indyfella: I've not seen the clinton's lately.....I thought they were beating the path for Obama. They may be smart afterall.....staying away from Obama/Ayers/ACORN. 2012???
yea, they've kept a low profile, have'nt they?....or maybe the press wont speak with bill anymore since he was so fond of palin?
StressFree: I heard McCain speak today. He made no mention of Obama and voter fraud in the same sentence. No mention of ACORN? Just voter fraud.
Maybe this is a can of worms he want's to really avoid?
No Stress... At this point he does not need to mention it. The investigations have begun and it's Palin's job to do the dirty deeds. That's just American political tradition followed by both sides
WhatUwish4: What information was found to be false?
Raines has had some dealings with the Obama campaign, but he never held any actual position within the campaign, and his involvement with it was not nearly as substantial as implied here. As the Washington Post reported when a McCain campaign commercial attempted to link Raines with the Democratic candidate, the whole substance of the connection between the two men was that Raines "had gotten a couple of calls from the Obama campaign" in which they talked about "general housing and economy issues.

That's THEIR story and it may be true... but if you were interested in sound, quality advice for your country.... would you seek out the advice of someone who is a proven liar and thief???? Or would you take the high road and ask the advice of someone who's qualifications were just a little less scandalous? In short... would you call a crook?
Hugz_n_Kissez: I'm talking about the public...parents and people in general...surely to god...kids are more important than Obama's tenuous relationship!!!!!!!!!
Indyfella: "nice family...cute kids....socker mom.... hot legs"
speaking of hot legs....i think one of the cameramen at the biden/palin debate liked her legs too....i dont know, maybe....but, none the less, i'de like to buy that cameraman a beer

Not really, I mean in the sense that during the debate, Obama did mention the bomb-bomb song by McCain. That was a personal attack based on evidence...not hypothetical fallacies....If McCain had something, he would use it. Even some oh his supporters have admitted to this. And I heard it on Fox news.

I saw that.... She looks better in pumps than Biden

Like all libs say......never believe anything you hear on fox.

Well personally I can't see how either one differs in that respect...and yes I would...I would vote for neither....if Obama has in fact lied and is proven guilty on any of the stuff presented...but for relationships...I mean obviously both sides have some that aren't very favourable....

Well that's a horse of a different color! LOL I wouldn't have picked either of them if I had been given a choice!

Actually, since McCain has been portrayed as having such a bad temperment, he is the last person who should be directing any personal attacks as his detractors would be all over him. And again, that is always the vice presdent's job. But Obama's "problems" are potentially huge as they COULD border on dead flat illegal. That's pretty much unprecedented in a presidential election (and frankly, I don't think anyone really wants that to be the case as it represents a new LOW for the office). It would be extremely unseemingly for his election rival to be hurling such serious allegations.
Hugz_n_Kissez: I know...it's bad when ya feel like you're picking the worst of the worst isn't it...It's no different here either...
Our entire election process, our entire government, and the media (meant to be the fourth estate) needs a complete overhaul, that's actually where I'm usually coming from on these threads.
Indyfella: On both sides there were much better candidates....I would put both of them at the bottom of my list.
As I say...lesser of evils at this point.
Well it's better to vote on the facts...and I can see some loop holes in what Obama has been accused of...but really the candidates don't differ much...especially with no sound plan for the economy a this point...which to me should be the most important thing...If you have no economy left...You can't do much else...but put try to put out fires!!!!!!!!!

Oh I agree..so does Canada's...the system they have doesn't work anymore...at least not for the people...
If Sarah Palin had made just one of the wildly inaccurate statements smugly uttered by Sen. Joe Biden in last week's vice presidential debate, there would have been 3-inch headlines in newspapers across America. (I can almost hear Katie Couric asking me, "Which newspapers?")
These weren't insignificant errors, such as when Biden said, "Look, all you have to do is go down Union Street with me in Wilmington or go to Katie's restaurant or walk into Home Depot with me where I spend a lot of time, and you ask anybody in there whether or not the economic and foreign policy of this administration has made them better off in the last eight years."
It turns out that Katie's restaurant, where Biden gets his feel for the average American, closed 20 years ago. The only evidence that he spends any time in Home Depot is that it appears that a pipe wrench fell on his head one too many times.
Palin would surely have been forced to withdraw from the ticket had she said something like that, but most of Biden's errors were not trifling mistakes like these. They were lengthy Lyndon LaRouche-like disquisitions that were pure fantasy from beginning to end.
jlw45: you were right i found it....."the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy".~~~joe biden
OMG! Can you imagine the uproar if McCain had said anything LIKE that?

Angel (CS member) was right.....race was brought up as an issue in this campaign.
Biden: "Lobbyists aren't bad people. Special interest groups are not bad people. But guess what? They're corrosive. People who accept money from them aren't bad people. But it's human nature. You go out Lynn and bundle $250,000 for me, all legal, and then you call me after I'm elected and say, 'Joe, I'd like to talk to you about something.' You didn't buy me, but it's human nature, you helped me. I'm going to say, 'Sure Lynn, come on in.' Just like by the way, if I turn around and I'm elected President of the United States of America and you call me and say, 'Joe, I want to come and see you', I'm going to see you. You helped me. You didn't raise me 250 bucks but you put your neck out for me. So they are not bad people. But what it does mean - it means that, the front of the line is always filled by people whose pockets are filled. People who are special interests."
