jlw45: what really gets me is the hypocrisie between the two....'birds of a feather''....what kind of honesty could we expect from the both of them?
Very true. The only thing I personally have come to believe is that you will hear more from Obama than anyone else. Of course, that's JMHO (and not meant to provoke anyone). It's just my firm belief.

well, i share that humble opinion as well....{and also, not meant to provoke anyone}
No really, today during a McCaine rally, some guy jump up and said 'End of American and beginning of socialism' or something like that. He was really heated.
WhatUwish4: Nope. I covered the early shift. Off for a little R&R now!
I'm out of business, well not completely that is to say the first very hard frost came this morning so all my plants are finished. Harvest all I could yesterday and today. But that means tomorrow I get to sleep in. Otherwise, I still have a bunch of watermelons to sell but within a week will probable be done for this year.
WhatUwish4: Right, you mean like when McCain co-sponsored the reform bill in 2005? Or when he calls to post pone the campaign to focus on a bi-partisan effort and Obama can't be bothered to attend?
Yes, I see a big difference in their reactions
No Wish, I saw you were leaving but I just got back home. I mean right now which is what real time means. I mean this crisis and their reactions and plans to deal with it.
For example to you agree with McCain's plan to bail out peoples mortgages with taxpayers money? That is what he is saying he will do.

In my opinion. Wrong plan but right idea.
Buying out the bad loans, means the Gov't then owes it. That you don't want.
Creating a pool sources of funds at the grass root mainstreet level that defaulting homeowner can borrow from solves it. Give him time to refinance or to sell without losing his equity. It is like a safety net. Idea is at least 15 years old.....from the last time the Fannie/Freddie failed.
Keeps the homeowner the default, Keeps the lender from foreclosure/eviction, keeps the bad paper from going higher up in the banking chain. Helps to keep equity value in the homes up and to keep growth in the house value.
Obama Rocks in here and in the real world as well!
What shall I say? Bushney,s have lost it for sure and they have begin to with draw seriously and these last weeks of the campain will be fabulous for firends of Peace and prosperity amoung nations!

Oh hell...be brave. Say, "Fabulous choice for the sake of the whole solar system"
meem4sum: I just put a Mccain/Palin bumpersticker on my car and a couple of cool t-shirts today.... one said "No'Bama" and the other said "The Coldest State in the Country has the Hottest Governer in the Country"
I'm Voting McCain because Palin is truly a hottie.... no other reason.
oak....... I am wonder about your kind of taste in deed.. but sure......

mbcasey: What kind of medication a war hero is taking doesn't matter.
I hope this discussion in these political threads do not sink to such substandard levels as this last post by Dude.
Say what you want Dude, that is fine. But I hope all others will not resort to his tactics.
I am on medication for bipolar depression. I certainly could out debate you or most people in this thread. So the next time you want to demean someone for their disability, no matter how or why it was caused, please think twice.
Thank you.
Your so right Ken. The scariest part is that Dude supposedly works in the mental health field. Personally, I think he're really a clever patient who somehow got access to a computer.
WhatUwish4: Hey... I was gone all day so I missed the fun. Um, if you can call it that. Probably won't be on much tonight either but may have a change of plans...so maybe.

I wonder who belongs in the asylum!
While I think Dude's medication remarks are a bit tasteless I wonder why it is that the constant theme from the right wingers in 15 threads of political squabbling is that Dude is insane? Could it be that the Republicans think anyone who supports another view is by that fact mad?
So much for the party that thinks it stands for liberty and freedom of expression. But then it has descended into a hate filled mob many times in the recent past. Insults and demeaning remarks seem to be all that is offered.......leavened by endless conspiracy theories.
The shocking thing is that your lot have been in power for ages and have done many unfortunate things....to be polite about it.....but you all blame the opposition as if they had done all the bad things. It is amazing that you don't even find it in yourselves to at least give Obama a hearing whether or not you vote for him. I think McCain has begun to realise the hate that is out there and to pull back from it - even if he managed to insult all Arabs and Arab-Americans in doing it.
At least HE realises his opponent is a flesh and blood human being like himself. Dehumanising your opponent is the first step to violence against him.
I laugh at Dude's English but I respect him for his enthusiasm and his persistence in the face of months of childish insults.
The McCain/Palin ticket is the first in American history in which both candidates were found to have violated ethics standards before a national election.
McCain, of course, was admonished by Senate Ethics Committee "for exercising 'poor judgment' for intervening" with federal regulators on behalf of Charles Keating, as part of the infamous Keating Five scandal.
And now McCain's running mate has also been found to have violated state ethics laws and abused the powers of her office, as part of the "Troopergate" scandal.
The nation has had 102 major-party tickets covering 51 presidential elections over more than two centuries. And we've never had a ticket in which both candidates on the same ticket were responsible for ethics violations before a national election. McCain/Palin is the first.
