Well really...given the effects that the U.S. economy has on the rest of the world...case in point...right now...with all the markets falling....Yes in fact I think this is a very important election for us all because the fact is...we have a world wide political and economic structure that is effected by a lot of different decisions that each country makes...including the U.S....

Palin, hands down! I wasn't even going to watch it - and I didn't watch quite all of it - but I saw enough to know that she impressed me more last night than she has at any point before this.
Kinda' felt sorry for Mr. Biden - It was a bit like watching a puppy trying to rough-house a kitten... And finding out the kitten has claws and knows how to use them!

I think things are going to start heating up for Obama in a big way. There is too much dirt under his fingernails and folks are getting wind of it. I don't think the average Dem will ever acknowlege it, but it will be enough to enrage those who really care. It's far from over, especially with all these investigations underway.
