MrRick77: Have you ever replaced a Laptop battery ?
Yes but it took forever for me to get to that point. It was a more expensive computer and had stuff I wanted off it. So I think the battery I got on sell so it only cost right at thirteen dollars and then I have not used it much since removing the information I wanted from it. The new cheaper one works faster. The other one was almost nine years old so it was time for a newer one
A friend at work asked me to repair her laptop. I put in more RAM, a new DVD player, reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP free of charge. She loved her laptop after I fixed it. All I asked in return was saying what a great job I did to get more business. It worked!

A few month ago my PC stopped working and I took to a shop for repairs! He discovered that the battery was at fault and I now use it without a battery without any problems Does anyone have a message coming up about running genuine windows?

I don't understand why you find you have a problem changing the battery in a laptop. Press the battery eject button, the old one drops out, the new one plugs in. What's the big deal?
Laptop batteries are only intended for about 150 or so full charges, keeping the laptop plugged in with a charged battery already in place shortens that because it over charges the battery. Likewise, each charging cycle lasts a little less. When you get down to a 20 minute (or less) charge on your laptop, it is time to spring for a new battery and change it. A few years ago a defect in the new lithium batteries forced a recall of the defective ones for many laptop users. That was about 6 batteries ago as I recall. I usually start all road trips with two fully charged batteries. That gives me about 8 hours of laptop time if off the grid. Obviously I change the dying one (and plug it into the car's cigarette lighter for a recharge) with the fresh one. Sometimes 3 or 4 times a week I do this. So why do you find it hard to do?
That sounds like a challenge to me!!! Sort of like "Have you ever wrestled a bear?" Well, no, I've never replaced a laptop battery, but, if need be, I am sure that I can successfully cross that bridge, unassisted! I have no doubt that I'm quite capable of replacing laptop batteries with the best of them!! Bring it on!!

He didn't say he had a problem, other than asking inane questions he didn't need the answer to.
