sunsmile007: Hei all, thanks for the reply. It's just awkward for me to have conversation with 18 or 21 y.o. and have to explain my age. Feels like you're sooooooo old. But I agree with mental age. Cheers everybody!
yes, I agree. Someone a lot younger than me is difficult to talk to in terms of historical and current events. Even down to reminiscing on music etc. and historical sport events and the like. Even physical compatibility is limited. Similarly with older than myself, their knowledge and memories will be different to mine in terms of general events and milestones. Attraction begins in the mind and with common interests etc so someone near my own age is more likely more compatible. BTW, how old are you?!! :-)

Lolette: tarris, there are lots of women who bake muffins, paint walls, change the wall papers, mower the lawn, if ever you did have an aweful time with your woman , it's your choice, i presume you have mutual consentment when you got married. Respect can't be won with your argument, nowdays woman shared the financial burden in the house , and most of the time, arriving home from work, they still do the cooking, the cleaning, tuck the kids to bed, the laundry,, your wife, maybe you spoiled her too much, or you're under her skirt,,or she didn't love you that much for you to be annoyed with your relationship, they say, in union there is force.

disagree with you. The majority of relationships still have gender specific roles. Whilst I enjoy cooking my ex wife usually cooked while I cleaned up the dishes. Most homes are built and maintained by men Most nurses are women These roles have evolved as women are generally more nurturing by nature while men are more physical. Were I in a place where I needed gentle, caring help I'd prefer a woman to hand. If I need to achieve a physical task I'd prefer men helping. Feminism lives in a dream world far removed from life's realities!

tomcatwarne: In your opinion, and in your country.
gee you dribble. Ok, here's a scenario, be it in England or NZ; you are building a house of stone. Lots of lifting and heavy work. You decide to employ youths. Would you approach a girls school or a boys school asking for apprentices and labourers?
truheart1941: woman should design....then men to build it.....
ha ha ha, women design?!! Maate!! I was a builder for 20+ years. We'd get plans approved and build a home accordingly (as ya do!) soon as the kitchen was installed we'd get some doughy housewife wanting things changed! 'I didn't know it was going to look like that'!!! WTF?! Let em design your house if you like.
Ask any builder and I'd bet they'll tell the same scenario nearly word for word!
I really have to laugh at the neanderthal like complaints from men who think that they feel physical strength is the be all and end all...well...it is not!!...very narrow minded and sounds like some are angry at women or need to be constantly reminded how good they are...smells of weakness to me...
We all are individuals and have different strengths...to measure people in such a narrow view is wrong...maybe you need a history lesson to understand the inequities faced by women and other people who are viewed as a minority...in regards to professions women enter...or people of colour...devaluing worth and hindering self determination are problems we still face...

I don't even get involved in the cavemen discussions anymore. It's just interesting to note just how many there are.
tarris: more to this Jacs. I've worked in the fields of construction and oil exploration all my life. Both are fairly physically demanding jobs. Have seen a few girls give it a go. Good on them but they invariably want concessions made for their femininity! Need a lift? I'm a girl it's too heavy!. Equality means equality, end of story.
So what do you make of men's inability to give birth? That would make you unable to be at a woman's level. I've seen so many men intimidated by my muscles or even envious. Few saying that a woman with muscles was not feminine. Did that make me superior? I was probably stronger than quite a few of them. Equality refers to the state of being equal, especially in status, rights, or opportunities. Are you saying that it takes physical strength for a woman to be treated respectfully, as an equal by a man?! Seriously?

Long live CS! You'll be here for a while.
Until you get bored and pursue some outdoor activities, like hiking.

allthegoodnamest: Nidi. So are you telling me that the "me Tarzan , you Jane" days are behind us?
Did you know cheetah had a passionate crush on Tarzan and hated Jane?!!! According to Maureen O Sullivan you could tell by his pinkness. Reminds me some CS characters.
allthegoodnamest: Loulou. I'm sure a certain NZ guy is saying things deliberately to provoke a reaction & it seems to be working.. No one could be that narrow minded.
Yes you could be correct...but what a way to represent New Zealanders...the land that time forgot...
