KremaP: How you will feel if your local public swimming pool orders you to cover up, and not to wear swimming suit because you are offending the Muslim visitors? That happened in UK...
The chances of that happening here are quite slim.
I doubt a "public" pool could get away with that for legal reasons, but I suppose a private one could if they could afford to lose the other members and constantly be closed for repairs.
We are more likely to see Muslim guests figuring out how to use the pool without damaging the filters because of improper dress. That would be the challenge, I expect

If it's Waterworld Krema is referring to, it was a one off event for 2 hours, outside normal public opening hours, for women only and boys under 4.

It was actually a "Female only event" and not specific to any ethnic or religious group... But they insisted on "Islamically appropriate" clothes... Why?

secretagent09: Before you go over the edge, please read what I wrote.
I ASKED if you experienced it.
I have not been outside the USA and have no desire to do so.
There is a wealth of beauty in our 50 states that is on my bucket list.
Yes your right my friend ...you did ask ...and my answer is I have even experienced one year of crazy war between Croats and Serbs and Bosnian Muslim's...and until extremist Islamist from Middle Eastern countries come to help Bosnian Muslim's to teach them how to cut off christians head's by sword - Bosnian Muslim's where not familiar with such... Yes, Serbs did genocide over Bosnian Muslim's and Croatians and also Bosnian Muslim's did genocides over christians on both sides ...

Because Islamic 'appropriate clothing' is the right culture in the west and anything different can offend muslims !?

I see these events in the news and think how awful but when someone (Whisper) says that she was there, it hurts my heart that you witnessed such horrific events

who knows? but I am glad they weren't in my pool, and that I did not have to clean it or the filters

thanks for the context. I am fairly sure that even 2 hours with clothing rather than swimsuit in a pool can damage it's filters....facts are so annoying lol.

tomcatwarne: I am sorry you had to witness these events
Thank you. I don't think that my experience where the worst...or after so many years,it seams lighter... a bit more foggy, like bad horror movie that I watched long time ago... I like to share something on a positive note... In the worst war situations when inhumanity takes over - there's also some good people (from every side)that overcomes national and religious differences in giving supporting hand to another human being, without looking at religion or nationality ...but one thing that's impossible in war, is to stay neutral...even if is just by owning your name that gives discloser of your religious roots, even if your not religious at all, it doesn't matter ...

Don't worry about snapping little bug It's a volatile subject.
You went through it many years ago but it still affects you today. I understand from personal experience how awful events can affect your psyche even years later.

Feminist activists should be locked up and Have the key thrown away, they are a thoroughly Destructive force, an evil force that are doing More harm to women than good
There's plenty of footage that shows what type If people they are google " feminist attack on Argentinian cathedral and you'll see one of many Example of what these truly rotten people are about
123whisper: purr4romance;I see that you put tum up only to take a few words out of the context- which is not part of the whole point I've tried to make. OK.Let simplify things in the most basic way...This thread is also about which culture should prevailed in the western countries. What culture you like to prevail in your country...to see women dress in skirts, western style clothing or being all covere up with burka ? ???
i haven't taken anything out of context. i asked you yesterday to show me where sharia law overrides british law. you failed at that.
it took an irishman half the morning to get you to tell the truth, i think. i lost patience with reading your propaganda so i'm not entirely sure you did.
nice try. trying to marginalize me is an old worn out tactic. next time try a little harder.
i would like all cultures that immigrate to this great nation that is america to live, work and play together. as far as women all covered up, i can reasonably assume that you're referring to muslims here, if that's what they want to wear, it's fine with me. they actually turn me on as i can only see their beautiful eyes and i can't help but wonder what the rest of her actually looks like when she slowly removes her burka. hopefully it's not a man.

Ex somalian Muslim living in Sweden is interviewed I have the same wish as you; that all cultures and religions work and play together but unfortunately that's not possible with everyone who doesn't want to integrate in host country.

I've reasurched about feminist attack (From the 23rd-25th November), in San Juan de Cuyo, Argentina, where feminists and their male peers bellowed noisy and anti-Catholic slogans drawing through the city. In retaliation, 1500 young Catholics formed a human shield around the Cathedral to prevent about 7000 antagonists from storming the Archdiocesan Church. It's shocking outrages Makes me sick.
