Happygolucky4u: You will never find someone with out faults as I will always have faults. It is called being human. When you truly love someone you will love them more than you see their faults. And even some of those faults will bring a crinkle to your eyes when you smile while they are doing them. Love is wanting to stay with someone thru thick and thin, thru good and bad. Love is accepting a person for who they are and yet still loving them. Just how I see things.

I do like dogs but dislike vicious breeds...
I love vegies and fruits but some of them make me sick...
I like all colours but won't wear or paint anything in my home red, pink or purple...
I drink beer but don't like stronger spirits...

And so on...

I do believe it is a personal taste and not choosiness...

Well it is choosiness when it boils down to a personal choice.

How can you share who you are, when you already have boundaries drilling down to colours, but that's ok nothing against your beliefs.

So you meet this really lovely guy and you go around for a yummy dinner he has lovingly prepared, you walk in.... all just a beautiful atmosphere..... and then you enter the dining room and he has pink tablemats and purple candles glowing. Gunna run?

PS no vicious dog, the little mut has been put to bed.

I think not.
Most would agree that humans are more complex; use cognition far more than birds. But consider this: Some birds, especially Bower Birds, build a fantastic "fort" to attract the female. He then struts, and fans his feathers, and does an elaborate dance. Several females are watching, and sometimes there are several males making these nests and doing these shows. But, the female is fussy--she watches intensely and takes a great deal of time in selecting only what she considers to be the very best dancer/prancer/interior decorator, etc... and often doesn't make a choice until she views twenty or so of these. Well, we are selective, too, although I would not categorize it as insanely so, or at least not for some of us.

I love God and the things he 'created' hence I will not kill an ant..even sometimes after they bite me, because I was probably mistaken for food, or I invaded their territory.

I too have preferences, as you said, but will strive to live and let others live, even though I have to turn a blind eye at a lot of stuff.

Now, when it comes to the death penalty for someone whose only desire is to cause mayhem, and want to be fed at my expense without earning their keep... devil
