mortalez: Ok guys and gals witch would you like to do for a first date?
Blockbuster Night - No, I'd have this later on when you are more intimate w/ the other person.
Dinner at a restaurant - Possibly, I mean I'm not taking to McDonalds, but I'm not taking her to a 5 star resteraurant either where it would be appropriate to propose.
The Park - Good idea, depends on the city (not taking her to Central Park at night), whether she has any allergies that may affect her.
Movies - Always the safe one to pick, but it's very cliche.
Nightclub/Bar - I don't drink alcohol, but a dance club isn't out of the question even though I can't dance.
Church - Don't really think it would be exciting.
Dinner and/or Movie....Would depend how close we were as to which I would decide.
Can sit and laugh at the kids falling off the monkey bars or even better have it on the freeway.. can you imagine the stares and all those people wondering what you are doing...

Take it from someone who's been hit by a car... doesn't feel too good...

I'm a one on one kinda guy so i say blockbuster night or park(unless the park is crowded)
I've had first dates at restaurants, museums, walking on the beach and hiking by a lake with a waterfall in a national park. The hike in the park was my favorite. Gave us plenty of time to interact and some private time to enjoy each other.

That is the most important bit, how the hell you are supposed to do that during a movie I have no idea.
Even the going out to Dinner things, doesn't do it for me .
Blockbuster - too intimate for a first date IMO unless you have known them a while before.
Dinner - this was my close second gives a chance to get to know each other properly but not good if your self conscious about eating in front of other people!! Not talking about me
Park - Yes a picnic or walk in a park is a nice romantic and quiet time to really get to know each other
Movies - Doesnt really give you the chance to talk and get to know one another do love movies though!
Nightclub/bar - can be too noisy i think for getting to know each other
retroprincess: for me it would be the park and then on to the movies or a nite club bar . id like somewhere quiet where i could speak to him properly at first.
nope I dont like going to bars with a woman i'm interested in and other dates like movies and out to eat I save for when I know the girl better.
