That's not my point, Dude. Before the election we used to debate all the time about how it was madness to withdraw the troops the way Obama proposed, and you insisted it was mandatory. Now that he's changed his tune, so have you. I'm just pointing out that what he is doing is in direct opposition to what he said he would do, and why so many people wanted to elect him.

Would you aprove if Obama began to draw ameircan military out of Iraq begining by tomorrow? I am sure one of the main poroblems Obama would face would be a strong oposition from republicans and they would bash his administration as never before because of the sudden civilwar which surely would begin in that poor country!
The withdrawing stiaution is much more comlicated than such unfortunatily and I am sure if Obama could decide him self and with out being bounded by military generals and the oposition in both houses he would withdraw them all very soon and would concentrate on the main battle ground:

I know! Obama wished it could be possible to stop the occupation of Iraq fast but then later when he was more aware of the complication of the situation he announced it will be between 16-18 mounths and I am sure it will sooner than that because Afghani situation gets more and more hot and the clock is ticking in both Afghanistan and Pakistan as well and it is really getting dangerous in those two countries specially now where all of a sudden Talibanies have been given suvernity in a big part of Pakistan all of a sudden by their odd and very WRONG presidnet!
I am sure the matter of Iraq will be taken cared of soon.......Iran needs to be tamed and they have the main key to the stability in Iraq, and Iraq is not the main battle ground and the main strategy will be changed and security strategies would be the main issue rather than fuel strategy.
Right here and right now the first steps toward changing for real in that direction has been taken and I see huge with drawings of american military from Iraq soon...... Emergency situation in Afghanistan, Pakistan and even in nothern Africa and emergency always changes the situation rapidley. It is like in a hospital you see? When ever there is an emergency docs and nurses will have to stay rather than going home and relax and some patients will have to wait.
