I agree Babi that this poll is rather condescending. I read into it that he's wondering, what "senior folks" good for. What do they have to offer. Someone said euthanasia. Well, I guess you could kill all of us that are over 55. Let me know how that works for you. devil

I agree Babi & Snuggs it is rather condascending & the euthanasia line well I find that offensive.

Senior folk are a wealth of information, world experience & wisdom in a lot of cultures they are revered but sadly in some wetern societies lets put them in a home & forget about them.

As far as what good well do you wish to talk to my 95 year old grandmother she still out does me volunteers at a local hospital visiting sick children & so many people look up to her.

So yes they are good for lots of things

Some of us we have a number in our ID, but we can be much more younger then young people. I am more young then my daughter, as I can accept changes and chalanges she cann't. Some young people they are so conservative and "narrow" minded that my grand mother who would be 120, if she was alive, she was thinking in a more openned way. But she was a special person. I am a bit like her.

Older folks, we can be every thing. We need to keep the body and the mind healthy. We know a few things more... like my grand mother was saying: "the devil knows a lot not because he is the devil but because he is old".

We have seen lot of things turning around in this world...
By the way I am very excited abut the new project of solar panels in the desert, we can get as much electricity as we need...

You are loosing your time... there are a lot of things you haven't done in life. Just hurry up...

Some chanlanges for us, the "older" ones? Please don't push me I have a broken vertebra, in my coxis. It has no medula in it, so I am around, doing my things, but more slowly. I'll be fine in two weeks.

We should be more in politics...as advisers. We have seen many mistakes in this world. Now i can undersand my educational father (not the biologic father).

You're 52 years old...only three years from the cutoff date.

What will YOU have to offer when you reach 55?

You yourself said you want all of the old ones dead so "you can live your life".

Aren't you going to live your life in a way to make a contribution to society? Or as you as selfish as you sound and going to be a taker from everyone else?

Snuggs, I'm 54 and just starting a new life, in a new country with new career, I am learning a new language and experiencing a new culture, the problem is that there are those who have lead such a boring and monotonous life that they think their own life is over at 35, while those who try to gain knowledge, read, learn from mistakes and experiences realise that there is no age limit only lack of health stops you going down the Cresta run at 99 years of age.

Very condescending, seeing that you know nothing about me, you don't know how much i drink or smoke, i ran a marathon two years ago and go cycling ever day, not that i have to prove to you anything.

As for my original post, did you see the litle devil, it was meant tongue in cheek, too many uptight people on here.

Drinking and smoking is written in your profile... you need to prove to yourself you are well with you and with the world.

Anger, bitterness???

Have a nice day. Be Happy
