I was refused admission on a Bus Eireann bus recently. I had bought a ticket. The Overweight Driver of the Bus was enraged because I had been smoking a cigarette outside the Bus. He said he had the right to protect his health from smokers. At the same time, his Bus and the other 6 Buses at Bus Arus in Store Street, Dublin, had their engines running constantly while parked in the Departures area.
I complained to the Management of Bus Arus about the Overweight bully driving the Bus.
I want Bus Eireann driven to the wall because of their stupidity and mismanagement. I want them to stop poisoning the people of Ireland, with their fumes, and their stupid strikes to keep fat bullys in their jobs. I want those Buses Stopped.

Reality! If they removed all fumes......then you would complain about the HIGH cost of tickets to pay for the improvements.

I believe she is basically meaning if he's so worried about "his" health and being around smokers that his "weight" should be more of a concern instead of worrying about what everyone else is doing... But on that note, just because a person is overweight does NOT mean they do not care about themselves.

This whole attitude towards smokers gets my knickers in a twist... yes, auto emissions are poison, eating McDonalds, Crisps (potato chips for you Americans) and all sorts of other convenience foods is hazardous to your health... so why the big campaign against smokers? For you in Britain and the USA.... are you aware that the smoking tax on cigarettes is what provides your healthcare? Those of you without private healthcare would be in a world of hurt if we all decided to stop smoking...laugh

As far as the whole bus thing goes... I understand your anger at the busdriver... but reality is that better one vehicle creating emissions rather than a car for each of the people riding the bus... we need more and better public transportation!!! So please don´t let your anger at one person let you loose sight of the big picture!

I think there should be smoking rooms real small with lots of people.......then one or two could smoke and all the others could save on cigarettes too. When the air is clear.....breaks over. You know! like taking a shower with a friend....save! Go green!
