I find it interesting that the poll result shows a majority saying you should have stayed and chatted yet the majority of people posting agree you did the right thing.
I didnt vote, you must judge for yourself if what you did was correct or not. I will say however that I have met guys from here and wish I had the nerve to walk away as they were nothing like they said on their profile.

...I'm sorry, I'm trying to behave.ok...Mr.Bay.......dont agree with her false images...etc....and u did what u needed to do...but a REAL gentleman would of introduced himself...explained...politely...YES..politley....was wat he expected...but chatting acouple of minutes...being kind sometimes doesnt hurt u know..dont agree with her style..but ur's neither....met many guys that said they are this that..blah..blah..,.blah...werent...but had the curiousity to say hi......not interested...and damn sure they were good people..doesnt mean i dont need to be one 2..........

bay163: I had a date with a woman from another dating site, she said in her ad she was 5'6 135 pounds, she wanted to make sure I looked good, before I could meet her I had to send a pic from that day with no shirt on, just to make sure she was attracted to my body, that was important to her. Well her only pic was in a bathing suit and she was smokin hot, I could not wait to meet her, we met at a Starbucks in San Mateo, I hired a freaking baby sitter to be with my kids while I was out because it was 6pm and I was hoping this might go ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!! Well freaking well, when I walked into the Starbucks right on time she was starring right at me and standing about three feet away, I was shocked you see I recognized her face but she had gained over 50 freaking pounds, she said "are you Bay?" I said "No" turned and got back to my car asap without looking back. Then I called her from my cell phone and said I had an emergency and could not make it, she said "I know that was you" I said back "oh was that you, I did not recognize you, you look different than your pic".
Was I right to do that???

You could have at least bought her a diet coke and then done a runner, or a brisk walk even ! I just don't understand why people waist the time of others by lying like that. They will only end up feeling more and more rejected over time.
