Konigsberg: Bay left his children with babysitter ... hoping that maybe at last she will be the one who will make his World shine with happiness. Alas!
bay163: I had a date with a woman from another dating site, she said in her ad she was 5'6 135 pounds, she wanted to make sure I looked good, before I could meet her I had to send a pic from that day with no shirt on, just to make sure she was attracted to my body, that was important to her. Well her only pic was in a bathing suit and she was smokin hot, I could not wait to meet her, we met at a Starbucks in San Mateo, I hired a freaking baby sitter to be with my kids while I was out because it was 6pm and I was hoping this might go ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!! Well freaking well, when I walked into the Starbucks right on time she was starring right at me and standing about three feet away, I was shocked you see I recognized her face but she had gained over 50 freaking pounds, she said "are you Bay?" I said "No" turned and got back to my car asap without looking back. Then I called her from my cell phone and said I had an emergency and could not make it, she said "I know that was you" I said back "oh was that you, I did not recognize you, you look different than your pic". Was I right to do that???
When she asked are you "bay" you should have said, who are you? Obviously, if she was so concerned about your looks, and know how you look just prior to meeting she should have been honest about how she looked. So, I can't blame you for not wanting to stick around. However, probably would have been better if you said hello, and that you didn't want to stick around because she wasn't honest about how she currently looked.
ladyfingers: That's cold..... I'd have stuck it out, gone on the date. One night wouldn't have killed you.
Have to say .. that is what I would have done: stayed and had a coffee (not a real 'date' is it ?) and chatted to her, politely explained that she was not being entirely honest about her size, and how disappointed you were etc etc . An hour or two out of your life would not kill you.
but thats just me, we all have different standards and ways of dealing with things like this.
ladyfingers: Maybe he next time he should stay home with the baby sitter.
Yeah Bay....if you just stayed home and behaved yourself you wouldn't be getting into this crap. You saw that picture of the "red hot mama" in the bikini and thought you were going to get you some. That will teach ya to dump the kids.

BUT IF he stays at home, how is he going to do it ALL NIGHT LONG and beat his record of 8 times?
bay163: The only thing I started to think later is that I didnt want her to think that she was too fat or no good. I thought well maybe I should have sat down and said you should update your photo, and all that, but actually I was also worried if she gave me back talk I might become rude and over the top. I was mad and felt so angry at myself for being excited and for taking the time to meet her.
I am glad you had the nice thoughts. It would have been best to be kind to her, even though you were angry and all. It's part of the ripple effect. She done you wrong, you do her wrong, and on it goes.
50 pounds is not 100 pounds. I guess it depends where the pounds were located. Still, she is a human being of dignity and worth. We tell others not to lie and then we lie to them - not a good example (she asked, are you bay, you said no, etc).
Smitten: u know WAT!!!!...yes u GUYSS!!!!! also say good sense of humor...rite bak at u sweet...U GUYS!!!!!!...also lie ...lie...lie...no wait did i say..LIE....rite bak at u sweet......grow up..works both ways sunshine..........
krisha: in my view, why u didnt show and face her as a gentleman no matter what kind of looks they have,we need to prove and shows we are a good person.

Exactly. We don't like someone's looks so we run? Cruel (and hurtful) to say the least. Is that all people are?
Do the right thing even if they were wrong. Best for all concerned...maybe she had a hot girlfriend.

drivenbysound: So now we're suppose to give credence to liars?
She was wrong to lie. But two wrongs don't make things right. Perhaps she has been lied to often...not making excuses for her, but if we treat each other badly it can't have a good end.

Now your really making me feel bad, i did not think about the hot girlfriend scenerio, so you think she was setting me up for some hot 3 way action with her lesbo lover, that does make sense
