What did I accomplish? Joined CS + another (can't mention it) Started and ended a relationship. Attended Downchild concert, same job, yeah i guess you could say it was a marathon session (right baby). Yep, definitely, learned some new moves. Met a bunch of new friends. Tore down a fence, installed a sump pump and painted the garage. All in all it was a really successful year.
The best thing I accomplished in the last year was having a very successful family Christmas - for a variety of reasons, it has been a long time since we've had a really good Christmas.
This is also the 1st year that my son's girlfriends joined us - so it was my first big family party as a single mom where I actually had enough money to afford a really nice tree, gifts, and a lot of the food and trimmings that make a traditional Christmas in my family.
I realize many will not understand, but this was HUGE and happy for me! I look forward to adding a few things on next year as well!

I have stopped smoking after more that thirty years of the nasty habit. I have made a few fantastic, lifelong friends on this site. I have gained some needed healthy weight. I have worked on a few personal issues and I'm winning. I have gained self confidence I have improved my appearance I have picked up a hobby that I love and have fun with daily. there are many things, all positive.
Most fun is learning who I am and what I want, then try to get it.
I totally redid my top floor, converting it from more or less a storeroom into a big bedroom and thereby freeing my former bedroom to become a den/library/music room.
It took me all year, but, considering my increasingly serious handicap, that's pretty good.
