I very brief dated a quadrapligic he was much younger and had,had a parachuting accident while in airforce.... I thought he was great, but he had sever attitude himself and drove me away....
I offten wonder how he is doing....heard he got married and had twins so Im happy he found what he was looking for
Dated a guy who limped when he walked on his left food.He was very insecure about his disability that drove us apart. He always made comments of why would I wish to be with a crippled person.
I have spinal bifta I was born with , but I had mine operated on and I was one of the lucky one I am now out of a wheelchair and on my feet doing things, you be surprised at the people that have a disability, and the way they look at life in hole different light
It is good to read that most of the folks on this poll, anyway, wouldn't exclude someone with a disability. I have found that a suprising amount of really nice people on this site may not have a physical disability, but do suffer with depression and the like. This can be just as debilitating as a physcial illness.
I suffer from ME and migraines and these two things have changed my life completely, but I am still the same life-loving, zany person on the inside!!
chattydave: How would you feel about someone with a mild physical disability,
Yes I would. Being physically disabled does not mean the person stopped thinking. I know a couple and they are both blind and very happy together, another couple they both sit in a wheelchair and they are also very happy.

It is also called CFDS or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Best to Google it really as it's pretty complicated, and a bit different for everyone. Basically, it leaves me with extremely low energy levels, loads of muscle pain, very bad headaches, lightheadedness, difficulties with levels of concentration, nausea etc. As you can see in my profile, I still get out and about and do things, but I always have to pay for it afterwards.
You can recover from ME, and many people do, so I have my fingers crossed that one day, I will get better and get back to my active lifestyle again

Gosh, I think I should count myself lucky. I have difficulty walking because my leg muscles are weak but I never suffer from pain, fatigue, numbness, tingling. I sleep well at night. I think my problem is due to mercury toxicity in my body. I got rid of my dental amalgams and started detoxifying and I have seen major improvements in my walking!

That's really interesting. I almost started to go down that road, having one mercury filling taken out "properly" (long story). So glad to hear that you are making improvements though...that's brilliant!

I have no probs with seeing someone :) To me it is what makes them special:) I do have probs my self. Car vs motorbike i lost lol but you just move on and if ppl cant take you for you then they are shallow
I have epilepsy, so, in a sense, it could be a physical disability. I don't have it as severely as most, but I still have my moments. Other than that though, I spend most of my time acting like a normal human being.
