I don't really have any phobias myself, but my youngest, who is now 25, has had coulrophobia (fear of clowns) since she was little. She has to leave the room if she sees a clown on TV, and if a clown comes near her when she's standing on the curb watching a parade pass by, she begins to panic and has to hide. She's never had a bad experience with a clown; simply an irrational fear of them.
lion131: i know of a guy that can't look at beans, and a lady that can't use a toilet without getting upset by the look of it!.beat that if you can!
I'm afraid of people offline. I also can't stand dead people ick :( but that's nothing so "unusual" but..
I once knew someone who was so afraid that something would grab him from inside the toliet that he would stand and never touch it when it came to using the bathroom!

This isn't so much a phobia as a quirk...I cannot abide by eyebrows going the wrong way.
Some of the kids in the village know about my eyebrow issues and tease me mercilessly by brushing their eyebrows the wrong way in front of me, the little gits.
I'm sqirming and having to smooth my eyebrows down just at the thought of it.
chococherrie: yes i once sat with me head out the car and one fell on me head eeeeeeeeeeeeeehh
Was the car moving? Was it going fast? Did it go splat? OMG!! I bet you were screaming and freaking out!! I know I would be!!
We don't have them here thank goodness or I would never put the top down on my car again!! I am always fearing a bird will drop something on my head when I park in my driveway which has a tree hanging over it!! Yikes!!

I hate to see women with their mouth shut......Mind you that is such an unusual event I have never had to face my phobia Night folks bed time
lilou26: I cant eat food cooked by anyone but me or my mother :) even the thought makes me gag!
I can however eat from a restuarant! WEIRD HUH??!!
I used to have that fear too, until I began to lose friends for being a prude. Now I just take it and throw it in the garbage when they are not looking.
This fear was caused by something that happened to a family member when I was very young.
I have faced bears and cougars in the wild and not been afraid but women scare me to death, they are dangerous. bears and cougars only have claws and teeth, women can rip your heart out with out even touching you.
