I'm a lousy typist, plus I hate typing. It bores me senseless 
This is probably why I only do a few posts at a time on here before I fall 
and emails are usually a no-go

as good as any secretary, training way back in my youth. Do a lot of typing in work, but by the time I log on here its usually in the evenings at home and I'm tired so dont type as good as I can. And I rarely get into in depth debates here because of that, but I like give my opinion now and then!

The only experience most of us have of the Chinese culture here is in our local Chinese takeaway restaurant and we tend to know what we want by its number on the menu whereas you have gone to the trouble of learning English!
And the truth is that it's not proper Chinese food. You wouldn't eat the rubbish that we eat!

I learned to type back in the days of manual typewriters. I had a very strict typing teacher, but I've always been glad I learned the way I did. The last time I took a typing test, I was clocked at 140+ words per minute. I make few typos. I type so much that I actually wear the letters off keyboards. Good grief! I need a life!

I can remember in grade 10 typing class (it was mandatory in those days) thinking "when am I ever going to use this skill?"

Being a legal secretary I had to type quickly.
Problem is, my thinking is slower than my typing so I can't always get my responses in fast enough.
