You bring up a good point about being a social site. The very nature or format of the blogs and forums are intended for socializing, but I thought it was for making connections with other singles. You know, I have never noticed the option for marital status. That is interesting.
I feel the same as you. My time has been somewhat limited here...you have had some very interesting blogs I wish I had some time to comment on. Maybe in the next day or so I will revisit them.
You are right to avoid certain blogs you do not feel comfortable with.
Thanks Daniela, I find you a real asset here on the blogs.
That was between you and her. That was my take on it. If there were any violations against you, you should have brought that up with the moderators. ....in my opinion.
I have heard that said myself, too. Maybe that is the issue here...people just don't want to over do it. ....it will eventually wear down the sensation of it all.
In regards of you knowing of people not being honest on this site, that would be a good time to present your information to the moderators. Maybe they could step in and make things right. As a participate on the blogs only, I am not sure it is my duty to place public judgments/announcements on the blogs that personally attack members here. I suppose that is only my viewpoint.
I live in an area that don't have a large population. The town I live in has about 150 people or so that live here. It is just a few smaller towns around my area. So, I am not aware or have seen too many people from my area on here.
Hardly any women here, or men....not that I am seeking a man, but the more here, the more possibilities for matches to be made. In other words, it takes a population of both genders to attract more participants.
You are right, I have noticed that as well...the busy/slow times here on the blogs. Maybe this is just a slow period...but it comes after a time of some very negative, and I would label abusive, interactions on here.
That is nice you feel that you have that ability to come as you please. I feel the same way.
Good advice with ignoring them. But, it is tough when these negative people have had enough experience with their negative craft, and now exactly where to cut.
I thought at one time I heard something about the military...or something related...had stumbled on or developed the internet in the 1960's. Incidentally, this same time period is when the UFO phenomenon also became heightened.
In regards to who is profiting off of the internet, I agree with you. In order to get into that business, the ease of entry is set at a difficult level with costly equipment that is constantly becoming outdated and most likely a lot of regulations. But you bring up something interesting....interesting in a way that if you follow the money, one might be able to better understand more about this technology.
What sort of generation is being designed today? That is an interesting story about your daughter. I would safely bet that she is not alone. It might be that sometime in the future, we may not even need to get up from a comfortable chair...for anything.
I think I heard something about that too, with the internet button. It kinda surprised me because I thought the internet might be a huge series of main frame servers all over the world and it would be next to impossible to stop it from one source.
You are right, in the music media business, technology is also moving very fast there. I still have a VCR... They could have stopped at vinyl in my opinion Wen, but 8 tracks would have been fine too.....also, stopped with the VCR as well. :)
I am guessing that Mr. Phillips is no longer around and is most likely in time somewhere else. Otherwise, I suppose we will just have to wait and see how accurate he is. But, that brings up a good question, what if he is right and we just all neglected the information he provided. However, what if he is just a little short on his medication and he is wrong and people react.
There was something a woman did was clearly wrong. Twenty minutes later, after discussing this with her, I was left apologizing to her. Hence...."never argue with a woman."
Am I seeing things wrongly?
Hmmm John. So perhaps the blogs get too boring for some and they start creating drama? That might very well be possible.
