Okay...just have a moment here on my small break from work.
But, I have seen so many women walking around now days with a look on their face of disgrace. It is like you can read their minds and get the impression that the world they live in has just disgraced them...nothing out there can please them. Without getting into detail of which particular race has that look on their face. They are even too good for themselves it would seem.
Since I somewhat quoted Jim Morrison before, it is only right that I quote Prince in one of his songs....something about mother/she is never satisfied.
Divorce would be way down with women having that respect for their man, and likewise men for their woman similarly.
I have noticed some of the things on that list you provide have stereotypical roles for the wife. However with society changing as it has, there are thing on there that most certainly roles could be shared between the husband and the wife. I believe a relationship should display mutual love and respect for the partners involved. The list you have here paints the picture that is just the woman who should provide the love and respect...but of course men have their soul, compassion, and appreciation to display as well.
But Molly, people can do whatever they want. I don't know what is right or wrong for everyone....just for what I believe is right or wrong for me. However, I did want to address Merc's statement because she makes it sound like not getting laid is a bad thing. I would say, it all boils down to one's perspective....she shared hers and I shared mine. Not one perspective is exactly right or wrong.
is that the nature of humans....to fulfill their selfish gratifications? That I really do not know....it seems like that is where society is going today though.
Thanks for clarifying that not all women are into looks, money, and power Merc. There was a time when women valued security, personality, and mental connections. Some women do in fact adhere by those yet....but I think they are dwindling a bit.
what would you rather do?
Did you know that most people don't even know they are depressed?
