BC....I always have been an extremely busy body....always on the run it seems, normally only watching about 1 hour of tv a day. Now, well....that has changed a bit. I miss the restaurant food, and going out to play pool.
Hopefully we don't have long left, but I don't think we will be totally out of the woods until a vaccine is discovered...and even after that, who knows.
It is a shame gas is going down so low in price and a person cannot enjoy it. I suppose, saving more money not driving at all.
Looks like I am leaving too Robert. Actually it is very late here and not to mention, I just popped in a VHS tape. Enemy of the State....Robert. You remember that movie?
Take care Robert....stay safe there and always find happiness.
MM....it has been recently reported over here that things could have been handled much better...especially by the opposing political party. This virus don't care of your political affiliation, at least not that I have heard of yet.
Anyway...it is terrible worldwide. Stay safe there.
Vivian, I agree...logic would say the second round should be less powerful. It was just mentioned by a doctor last night on CNN. Well, Trump calls them fake news...so who knows.
Jac....I am not sure of the procedure he had done at the chiropractor.
I do agree, he was not staying home.
Around here, we live in the country...where our closest neighbor is generally some distance away. Does that make us immune, not by any stretch.
But....we are being told we can go out as long as we maintain at least a 6 foot distance. Although, as time progresses, so do their recommendations to exercise total isolation.
Jim, I am of similar mind as you. I agree, a chiropractor does not have specific knowledge of viruses...well, one could assume. Maybe he heard something too...like Robert has alluded to.
I was going to write another blog about this thought here...but, I think it is better to just keep it in this blog.
Of course....it is better that the world does not face this at all. But......the reality of the situation is, it is here, and we are indeed dealing with it. So....thinking it is better to not be dealing with this in the first place, obviously is not an option.
I have heard countless times throughout the years how because of our antibiotic medicines have been used to treat patients, germs and viruses are becoming more resistant to these drugs. It seems that as time progresses, the scientists and doctors that have been saying this seem to be correct. Well, from what I see and hear. There seems to be new strains for flues and illnesses that seem to show up at future periods in time as we experience them....that our current medicines have no effect on them....because of what has been described to us as mutations.
If that is true, then I have a curiosity that might be of interest to ponder...
Would it be better that this virus be naturally made...with the possibility of it mutating sometimes into the future into some sort of stronger drug resistant illness.
or
Would it be better it was man made? (I am not saying it is man made...but...hypothetically speaking)
Speaking of stockpiling equipment. I was just listen on the news...just now...to be honest, and they were talking about how South Korea is much better off than the US. They said the reason for that is that they did adequate testing. They said that the US was very slow in the beginning to do proper testing. What does that mean.... ....well, I know what it means to me.
Stay safe there EX. It sounds like both our nations have mountains to climb yet. Hopefully humility with all in charge is front and center.
psychological effects of isolation
