Boh....I was surprised to hear when one of the women told my friend she could learn to love somebody....as if she no longer had the capacity to love in the first place. Maybe the way I see things are a bit skewed, but that is how I read it.
In other words, even if she was not in love with him from a spiritual level, she could love him on a superficial level. I am not sure one can really learn how to be in true love.
....you either put all your interest in the one you are with or you do not.
Just food for thought, I wonder if it is possible for one man to fully complete a woman.
Thanks for sharing the quote. I wonder how many truly find those word exact. I suspect many. I do agree, self respect is great...as is respecting others too. It has to be a two way street for people to thrive as one.
There is a human approved version of Ivermectin that is completely safe for humans to use. Whereas, if you go to your local farm feed store, there is Ivermectin there too...but it is dosed for use in animals. If somebody takes a dose that is appropriate for a horse...well...
Funny joke that is thought provoking to me. I wonder if there is not a grain of truth hidden in it. ...meaning do women fall out of love with men more than men falling out of love with women...
Leave it up to me to turn a joke into some sort of serious dissection of reality.
I find it interesting the government is using people's employers to push this vaccine....or the business establishment in general by how they are threatening you cannot enter a store if you have not been vaccinated.
I remember around here when Covid first came around and they shut down many places of businesses. At first, it was said the police were not going to enforce the mandate....and no local businesses shut down. Then the governor changed the game a bit...and she made the Department of Health step in and threatened business owners with losing their licenses. That worked. In other words, one way or another...solutions to their agendas will be found.
All I am going to say is....regarding the spread of Covid....I am completely dumbfounded how they can allow these stadiums to be packed with people for sporting events. If the concern for spread is as bad as they say...then why allow that?
Jabbed against the unjabbed...that is an interesting observation....another source of division. There seems like there are so many sources of division that soon everyone will be against everyone else. For example, you are rich, a Republican, and are unjabbed....oh...says the rich Republican who as money..."but you are unjabbed...stay away from me." Not exactly good for a country of unity.
Joe Rogan had some good interviews I listened to about this divisive nature that is being spread and fostered.
Good points Orz. It seems as if there has been this element of control over one's personal freedoms for some time now. However, there appears to be the blurred line between personal freedoms and employer's rights to hire....this line is being played with.
It is a beautiful thing to listen to a mantra....one in which the language you do not understand....and you shut your thoughts off.....just absorb the sound.
It does take practice to do...but it is easily done after time and is absolutely a wonderful experience.
One a similar but different notion. I was thinking about this just the other day when I decided to drive with the radio off. If one takes a brief moment, many of us have our minds completely distracted most of the time...whether it is listening to the radio, watching tv, working, or talking to other people. Very rarely is one's mind open for introspection and self discovery...or just discovery in general.
I was just listening to Jordan Peterson and he was talking about when people identify with the extremes of both left and right. He says when that happens, tribalism can occur. He went on to say that tribalism can lead to bloodshed, which is obviously a dangerous thing....kind of like a civil war if you will.
Traditional marriage had/has define roles for both men and women that are different....hence creating inequality by today's standards.
I shall say inequality for men as well. What about the man of the past who wanted to be there to raise his child...but was forced to go to work 8 hours a day, in many cases doing harmful and dangerous jobs and having a shorter life expectancy?
I am not sure they did away with beach volleyball or not...but, I thought the clothing was appropriate for the atmosphere.
I remember watching that once....and I really enjoyed the competition. If they did cancel that, I don't really understand why. These young ladies now days wear leggings that are so thin and tight that it actually crawls up their cracks.
I am not against equality for women, in fact I am all for it. Men are also discovering the freedom from marriage also and expanding on their lives as well. Maybe the way the world is today is better than it was. It did seem to thrive for a 1000+ years. Now perhaps women can buy their man new clothes, shoes, and pay for everything while the man makes the home. I guess time will tell what the results will be. At this transition period, I will say it is a bit chaotic though.
We have women with attitudes. We have men left unable to understand and articulate where they stand and how they feel. ....and, we have children burning down cities.
I just read your comment again about suppression of women and you say for "generations" they have been suppressed. So, yes indeed you are referring to women in marriage...and yes, my comments do address your assertion correctly then.

strange female anomaly
