Forgive my gloominess on this evening....a real close friend of mine is in a truly terrible place in his life. To a point where it is even difficult to help him or even offer him advice. I heard the song posted in the OP and it seemed to fit his life.
He met a woman on here. ...of all places.
Got married....and divorced several times to her....bent over backwards for her...
Just one more thing, there are only so many 6 foot-4 inch highly attractive extremely wealthy men that exist out there. So, "settling" is inevitable....otherwise, a single life will ensue.
"Settling" = unhappy relationship for men and women.
Both men and women have predictable natures to themselves.
These natures can be exploited....exploited to a point where both men and women become less than favorable to each other.
Therefore, it is not just men, but both men and women.
Okay, we are at the point where it is both men and women.
How did we get to this point today...where men have issues with women and women have issues with men?
Did it just occur randomly within men and women on an individual level? Or, did it occur on more of a widespread level...say for example, through messages we received from others? ...oh, say through our television screens, books, or internet?
How do television screens, books, and internet get into our lives? We as just regular people were given these. By who? Is it fair to say, whoever gave us this stuff, has a certain level of control over it? At very minimum, the ability to spread a message through these forms of information we consume?
I think us humans are fairly simple. We want to live...simple. For us to live, we need to be in an environment that allows us to live. An environment of love, acceptance, tolerance, and prosperity is easier to survive in than one of hate, chaos, and division.
I wonder how far we can go with all this discrimination stuff.
How about, is it discrimination to want to be around somebody in your life because they are more attractive than someone else...or more wealthier....or more intelligent.....or taller.
You know...they say actions speak louder than words....one's actions towards others can show discrimination.
It is easy. It is fun for them. It fulfilled their need for validation. It gives them money. It makes them famous.
You notice all those benefits they get only benefit themselves.
However.....
They are beginning to understand men. I say....beginning. As that is where we are at today...at the beginning.
If they want children and a family, they are now beginning to understand that men don't want a woman with a long past. So, they are starting to see for themselves how true this is....as they age....and are alone. This selfish nature is no good in a relationship where two people are involved....especially when that other person values something totally different than what they were/are before.
Men have now become better educated about women. Women now know that men are not going to accept certain behaviors.
In time....things come more beautiful than ever though.
