That Newport vessel one don't look too bad. That is what the guy was building on the video I watched..one to charge a cell phone, cigarette lighter, led lights, accessory posts.
I think I mentioned this in one of my older blogs. In a technologically advanced world...one deemed safe and structured...a manly man is not really an asset. But in a world where chaos exists, a manly man might be an asset. I just say this because of a thing I seen on FB before. Something that says, "to women, if you man don't know how to hunt, etc...etc...., you may want to trade him in"
I am sure the world won't get out of hand.
I am guessing that there is technology out there that we are clueless about that will keep civil order.
Pretty cool Mark. I do have some extra time on my hands these days. It might not be a bad idea to get something like that together. Thanks for sharing that.
I thought about that Mark...solar panels. Maybe I should look into some smaller portable size ones. They are nice to have around when going camping, even if things don't take a dark path.
Pat and Palm, the likelihood of things completely falling apart....I would think is rather low.....if I were to keep an optimistic mindset.
But, planning in case it does fall apart is not a bad thing. Toilet paper is nice right now, but just something as a fire in the middle of the woods might be more important down the road. (according to that show anyway)
You are right Usha...I did enjoy reading that. If true, as you mention...and the interpretation correct, well....enough said.
Thanks for sharing.
There was somebody else, from India, who told me about 4 months ago, that the next 6 months are going to be very interesting. She had heard it from a "seer" friend of hers...whom was trusted for his visions.
I found that statement interesting from her, and I have never forgot about it. What was really interesting about it, was a business man friend of mind told me that the head person at the bank he does business with was telling him that in the next 6 months things were going to be interesting. He told my friend that his bank was selling off loans for "toys" that customers bought....like atv vehicles and such. My friend asked me, when financial times become difficult, what are people going to default on first? Well...the toys of course. BTW, my friend told me all this about a month before I got that message from that lady in India.
Self employed here...so on that end not much difference...mostly done over the internet.
I have a slight stockpile of supplies. I didn't want to find out the hard way that I am going to need them. Hopefully the panic has subsided a bit, to be that can be more dangerous than the actual virus.
There is nothing mandatory for the individual around here right now. They have closed schools, suspended sporting events, and are in the process of closing down places that accumulate larger crowds.
Myself, I am self quarantining myself as much as I can. I still do have obligations that need to be met that have me travel from my home. When I do those, I make sure I avoid anything with potential risks and wash my hand frequently. So...I have got a lot of extra sleep that I probably was in need of and I have been watching a lot of movies. Not too bad...my house is next to spotless clean too. lol.
maybe....could it happen you think
