RE: "A HARBINGER OF DOOM THIS WAY COMES!!" Comet ATLAS

If microbes are landing on the surface of Earth...it would be a good idea to stay in doors.

This corona virus is still a "mystery" they say too.

dunno

How did you hear about it Mic?

RE: "A HARBINGER OF DOOM THIS WAY COMES!!" Comet ATLAS

Ah Mic...

I cannot agree more with you.

thumbs up

To me, I find it strange I have not heard anything on a public level about this. hmmm

Another side note:

I might be watching too many episodes of Ancient Aliens. laugh

Interesting String. thumbs up

Contact Tracing

Pat...that is something similar what I heard...not the 13 thing, but about the bar code being tattooed somewhere on your body (I heard the arm), where they will be able to scan you.

But in today's world...that would be cumbersome.

Why not just implant something...with signals constantly being in connection with you.

dunno

Molly,

A false positive can get you ill....if they put you in a room full of true positives.

dunno

But...you might be right on the other points. laugh

Robert....nature is such a beautiful thing. I love squirrels by the way. :)....beautiful creatures.

cheers

alcohol solves nothings....as a side note

wine ....as I sip on my wine. :) (actually not sipping yet...but at some point in the future) laugh

psychological effects of isolation

YSA...some good points. It is like we are being reconditioned at the moment. The longer we stay in this "lockdown" the more deep seated the roots of the reconditioning will take place...hence, creating a new normal for us.

If life were to return as it were, the longer we stay as we are now...reverting back to what was normal, will also be a challenge. Everything is within perspective.

Thank you for the information...thumbs up

Thank you Tim....you as well. Please stay safe and well. wave You are a very kind man.

Bear....thumbs up thumbs up totally agree.

You know Bear.....I just read an article in Psychology Today....in reference to a person with dark intent and a person with light intent.

The one with dark intent has only their selves as a main focal point.

The one with light intent has society as a whole as a main focal point.

I am not saying that money can buy one happiness. Even though, in the short term, I think it can....maybe not even a quality happiness either. But I think you get the gist of what I am saying. thumbs up

You are right though....there are much more happy stimulating things in the world, rather than money. thumbs up Including toilet paper. laugh

Jac: "The question is, if some people hoard all the pretty things, does that mean lots of other people go without?"

thumbs up thumbs up

Pursuit of Happiness

thumbs up Jac...

Money not being happiness itself, but the conduit for it.

I think money can be a short term source of happiness, with the highs it can provide. Say for example, a new car somebody buys. But eventually, that high wears off.

But long lasting happiness...I think that is where money as a conduit becomes more important. (Of course, in a capitalistic world). Where having a lack of money promotes hardship....money for a conduit of happiness becomes more valid.

From your story you shared....it seems you can relate.

It is easy to lose sight of what role economic hardship plays on the path of happiness....in a face-paced capitalistic world. (in my opinion)

Thank you for sharing.

laugh Robert....time will tell.

You know Robert....I have given this a little thought through the years...

Technically, it is the end of the world....everybody will eventually pass on....so....in essence, we all face the end of the world.

I agree with that Chat. It is all very convenient how things are all just working out.

Pursuit of Happiness

Hello LaF,

I think money can directly bring happiness....but more importantly, I believe, it can allow for happiness to be experienced much easier. (through those things you mention). thumbs up

Try living a life stressed out immensely because of continuous financial difficulty. (Not saying this directly to you LaF...but to anyone who don't understand).

Pursuit of Happiness

Thanks BC...

I think people who have never experienced any sort of financial distress....especially over a moderate length of time....say for a year or two, cannot fully grasp what is being said here.

Hopefully my message to YSA sheds a bit of light on the situation.

I wonder BC.....if this virus could potentially be tied to the absurd greed we experience? Meaning....people not even having the capacity to keep themselves clean enough....or feed properly....to prevent something like this from happening. dunno Even the elites are targets of the virus...perhaps they might want to reevaluate.

You know BC. I sell sports cards. There are cards out there that people have paid multiple millions of dollars for....can you imagine how many people that could help on a financial level?

Anyway.....dunno

wave

Pursuit of Happiness

Merc....have you ever lived life without money?

Pursuit of Happiness

YSA....I agree with you. I would ad, staying humble is not bad either. But, reading your story....it is very inspiring. From what I know of you, you are very intelligent. thumbs up Intelligence can get you a long way in life...including providing for yourself financially...thus allowing you some time to step away from a life of work for a moment....step away from life....stress free.

Stress is more than just a mental issue...stress physically damages the body's organs. Over a long time, stress can have major irreversible effects on the body.

I grew up poor...in a very poor family. I know first hand what not having money for food, or when the electricity gets shut off...no phone....etc.... what sort of stress that can bring, especially to parents.

In fact, this virus is having a bigger impact on the poor.

They report blacks/African Americans are getting hit harder than anyone else. I was said today because some don't even have running water...many of them have high blood pressure.

....as far as I know, stress raises one blood pressure.

However YSA, as your story points out...it is possible to succeed. thumbs up

However, there are some out there not as intelligent :( Or, there are some out there that may have not had an available opportunity. :( It can be a lot of things...those just some I can think of.

Thank you for sharing your very inspiring story YSA. hug You are a beautiful spirit. angel2 ....truly!
