I appreciate your prospective...and you are right.
I wonder though....though in near total isolation, I would still say we have a lot of freedoms that still exists. It could always be worse. How about being informed to do something against your free will? I suppose that could be the next level beyond what we have now. Let's hope it don't go that far.
Usha....I am also finding the beauty in the current environment we have been subjected to. Maybe it is a testament on how flexible some people can be when introduced to a new way of living. The old saying, when given lemons...make lemonade. :)
Stay safe over there...and let your spirit roam in exotic and beautiful ways.
Like mentioned to Robert....perhaps we will discover a new found appreciation for things...maybe all things. However, I think another year or two of this might get that to sink in a bit.
But who knows...hopefully we don't have to go through this much longer.
Pepps is still around in the shadows. ....very rarely does she stop in around here....but maybe with some encouragement. I chat with her a bit on Facebook. She has been doing well from what I hear.
Okay....yes, we need as much as we can get over here with sanitizer and all the other safety/cleaning stuff.
I will wait for your call....take your time, I am going nowhere.
I am sorry to hear that :(....about your home country.
I was wondering. There was nothing I hear on the news here about them. I asked Hazel about over there and she said in Manila that they are staying in....but she mentioned something about some might not be heeding the quarantine order.
Agree Molly. My father and mother are both older as well, and I can relate on the importance distancing. I am not a huge fan on all this protesting going on over here...like you say....things are what they are....and necessary action is just that...necessary. Hopefully things go well here.. ...but I hope the country don't get open too soon and we are worse off than we are now.
Bear, I was working on my stairs project when that thought occurred to me...first about what we take for granted and secondly about the entitlement mentality.
Nice. Those masks doing their jobs....getting all stained up. You know that would be dangerous right? If he didn't have his mask on and he had the covid and a little droplet from him happens to land on your eyeball has he talks to you? Right?
I don't know Robert. You could save humanity by warning them of which women to avoid.
By the way, what did you think she was talking about when she was going to give you some pink eye? Did you ask her if she was going to provide some brown eye too? That's it, you should have asked for the brown eye.
Maybe you should put away your adult video collection Robert.
I swear Robert, I proudly watch a lot of movies. ....but, I swear that they put that lighting up cigarette scene in there to promote smoking. I think there has been only 1 movie I have watched in the last 3 years that didn't have that.
But maybe...I am a ex-smoker....that is kinda still got the craving for one....that just notices that.
Maybe you have the same problem with those scenes.
That is interesting Robert....I did see that in my local store. They say for safety purposes, they are not taking returnables. Yes Robert....maybe when you are able to bring them in, you will have a new found appreciation?
Hmmm Robert....I suppose it could be worse....having a wine habit and being in debt trying to support it. Well, what a way to bring a ray of light to my life....no debt yet in that department.
Boy....the things we have taken for granted....
Hello CC,Let's hope it does not get to that point, of everything collapsing. I appreciate you sharing your perspective.
Stay safe as well.
