Johnny,

Even the darn Recycle Center is closed. How am I supposed to sell my aluminum cans and plastic bottles?
dunno
That is interesting Robert....I did see that in my local store. They say for safety purposes, they are not taking returnables. Yes Robert....maybe when you are able to bring them in, you will have a new found appreciation?

dunno
The nice thing Robert....we still have many luxuries.

Maybe the cable tv industry should have a Little House on the Prairie marathon on every channel for the next month. uh oh
Maybe you should put away your adult video collection Robert. idea laugh

I swear Robert, I proudly watch a lot of movies. laugh ....but, I swear that they put that lighting up cigarette scene in there to promote smoking. I think there has been only 1 movie I have watched in the last 3 years that didn't have that.

But maybe...I am a ex-smoker....that is kinda still got the craving for one....that just notices that. laugh dunno

Maybe you have the same problem with those scenes. grin laugh
Johnny,

Last week, a lady friend said if I go over to her place, she will give me the pink eye.

Well heck, I got all cleaned up, dressed up and went over there.
The next morning I had a headache and an eye that was swollen and pink.

Sheesh! And all we did was eat popcorn and see movies. doh
Some people will complain no matter what.
Other people will never complain no matter what.
At this time, some people are having a harder time than others. Some handle change better.
The vast majority of us had much more than we needed before. We are learning we can survive on less. But we still have a lot more even now than the majority of the population of the world ever does.
Johnny,

I've got a friend who spits a lot when he talks. He can't help it. That's just the way he is.
He wears a paper mask, but all the mouth part is always stained wet. That's disgusting! doh
I don't know Robert. You could save humanity by warning them of which women to avoid. laugh

By the way, what did you think she was talking about when she was going to give you some pink eye? Did you ask her if she was going to provide some brown eye too? conversing That's it, you should have asked for the brown eye.
Very true Molly....for some, this time will be a little bit of perspective taking. Others...any thought of that will not cross their minds.

thumbs up

wave
Nice. Those masks doing their jobs....getting all stained up. laugh dunno You know that would be dangerous right? If he didn't have his mask on and he had the covid and a little droplet from him happens to land on your eyeball has he talks to you? Right?

rolling on the floor laughing
How are you doing with all this Molly?
Johnny,

Gotta go for a few minutes. You and Molly go ahead with your Bawdy talk. laugh

I'll be back later. cheers
I think that we take one another for granted. We also take ourselves for granted too.
That is right, the bawdy talk. laugh What does bawdy mean Molly? I have been too lazy to look it up. laugh
Rob, there can't be any bawdy talk if you aren't around tongue
what are you up to now ?
Do the "entitled" complain the most?

I do think so.
Hey CH...long time no see.

How are you?

I am laying on the floor at the current moment, checking Facebook, on here, and watching the news. laugh

What about you?
Bear, I was working on my stairs project when that thought occurred to me...first about what we take for granted and secondly about the entitlement mentality.

thumbs up
just done working...thought it would be nice to say Hi here. I've lost interest in blogging long ago but this virus could put an end to everything so I thought I should say Hi here or at least post my final blog laugh
Johnny, I am doing fine. Of course there are things I miss, that is natural, but I am just being pragmatic about it. It is what it is. I agree with the need for physical distancing. It is necessary to stop the hospitals being overcrowded and unable to deal with the amount of severely ill people and then having to choose who lives or dies because that is what will happen.
This is not about me, or any other individual and our supposed rights to freedom. It is about protecting the more vulnerable members of society and if we have to put up with a few minor inconveniences to do that, so be it.
That is nice of you CH....I am happy you did. It is truly wonderful to see you and to know you are safe and sound still.

Hopefully that is not your final blog, you are very much enjoyed here....even if it is just the chew the jaw.

grin

Give a call anytime you feel you want to bs. Now days, I have extra time on my hands as well. laugh
Agree Molly. My father and mother are both older as well, and I can relate on the importance distancing. I am not a huge fan on all this protesting going on over here...like you say....things are what they are....and necessary action is just that...necessary. Hopefully things go well here..dunno ...but I hope the country don't get open too soon and we are worse off than we are now.
They will have to do the reopening very slowly, and rowing back if necessary again.
Until they find a vaccine, this virus will keep looking for new hosts. It is up to us to not be a party to that.
...right Molly...

There is absolutely nothing easy about the solution to this problem.
always fun to be here...I don't think I'll be able to stay away for good

I'm waiting for some phone calls, hoping to close a deal on some sanitizers going to Hawaiilaugh

will give you a call laterdancing

where's Robert ? I miss Angelpepper toosigh
Maybe it is a timely reminder that humans are not the be all and end all we think we are.
We can be flattened by a microscopic germ. Yet the planet and all the rest of its inhabitants will merrily live on whether we exist in not.
Robert took has bawdy self elsewhere I guess. dunno laugh

Pepps is still around in the shadows. ....very rarely does she stop in around here....but maybe with some encouragement. dunno I chat with her a bit on Facebook. She has been doing well from what I hear.

Okay....yes, we need as much as we can get over here with sanitizer and all the other safety/cleaning stuff. thumbs up

I will wait for your call....take your time, I am going nowhere.

Chat soon.
It is something for some thought there Molly. thumbs up

Like mentioned to Robert....perhaps we will discover a new found appreciation for things...maybe all things. dunno However, I think another year or two of this might get that to sink in a bit. dunno dunno dunno dunno

But who knows...hopefully we don't have to go through this much longer.
I find it funny when I see people posting prayers on social medias " Lord ,heal the world" I think their prayers have been answered , the world is now healing itself...sigh
Johnny,

Ask CH is she likes the smell of wood too. laugh
CH.....in a ironic way, I think you might be right. :/

Robert....only walnut wood smells good. laugh
Rob,

what kind of wood are we talking about here ?

of course I like hard woodroll eyes
Johnny,

yeah, it feels good to be rightlaugh
Molly,

the world is healing itself...we will have to be too thick not to figure that outsigh
You are always right CH. grin

...well, sometimes. tongue

(We promise to build your castle in clouds. And Knight you in the fortress of blue skies. We promise to make thousands of everlasting memories. All in good time. Until then stay at home and stay safe. )

The airline I travel with sent me this mail and for a moment I felt sad. But I read it again and took to my heart, ALL IN GOOD TIME.

My holiday was cut short and I had to rush before the airport closed. I can say, I am used to lots of stuff. But other than seeing people in real, I don't miss anything.

What we took granted for, took us for granted too.

I am appreciating life in it's simplest form. Living with minimum. Needs. No wants. Living with people who matter the most to us. This is the real deal. No gimmicks and distractions to attend to. Facing life in it's bareness.

Take care and be safe.
hug
I don't believe me wanting my freedom is by any means taking anything for granted..People have taken me for granted..I'm not materialistic..Wanting freedom is free.
Yes. You will not hear anybody complain about human civilisation more than its wealthier members. The sentimentalism of luxury civilisation with its belief that nothing natural ever hurt anyone, clueless desire to see nature win, and preference for pets over people.
The irony of it all is that the pet is civilisation. There wouldn't be any pets without social conditioning it's the most unnatural thing in the world, if civilisation collapses your cat and your horse are going down.
