That would be interesting to hear from some extreme feminist to see what they think. From watching videos, it sounds like they are just pretty much angry people. I like your mindset too....more relationship material...as is Itchy too.
Maybe we are just giving this feminism thing way too much attention and credit and nobody really is a feminist?
Honestly Itchy....and Gypsy too....because I see you agree with Itchy, I really feel men need women and women need men. This current, I can do it by myself attitude...well, yes...you can do it by yourself, but, is it the way nature intended? The nature of our being.
Cc....that is what I wonder. In traditional days, children had their role models in the house with both parents. Now it is in many cases one parent in two different households or just outright one parent where they spend their time in daycare while that one parent is out working. I am curious as to what that will do with the up and coming generations. ....think we are seeing some results in the current newest young adult generation of today.
Great story Cc. Thank you. By the sounds of it, you still had great appreciation for your husband. Interesting about the door and the woman your husband experienced. I am not sure how feminism was perceived and how it was being touted at the time of the woman and the door, but now days, feminism is being spread on a mass arena...and now being pushed as the norm. With that being said, I think the mindset in people that feminism is targeting is creating a deeper seated mentality...thus possibly leading to the extreme nature of its meaning.
I was curious on how a child grows into an adult from a single parent family.
See Molly, you would make good relationship material...very rational minded. :) ...not the extreme feminist you earlier advertised yourself to being.
You know what I think about women Molly?
Well, here it is. First off, I think like you. There are all different types out there. When I am around women, I just be myself. I have learned and genuinely accepted life as I live it. I enjoy myself....and if, along the trail of this life I am living, a Ms. happens to open her door to me, we will just see where that path takes us. Until then, they can be as hating or loving as they want to be. I am still happy.
Robert, your story sounds very similar to what my friend Bert ran into last night. Just a harmless conversation he was trying to start, and she spit venom in his face like he was Jack The Ripper. But, that can't be. There are no men haters out there. Of course, that man-hating mentality cannot be spreading through society like it is the norm, especially with the younger generation.
I appreciate you bringing up the subject. It is also a subject that I have talked a lot about. I have never watched any videos or really looked into what others have written about it. But, I have just spoke about what I have seen. It is refreshing to see some women pointing out similar and other inequities men face in today's society. Who knows, with the wider spread the extreme feminist movement grows, it could spell real threats to society as we have known it.
I know that is the point of feminist, to change society as we have known it. I am talking about perhaps the demise of it completely. Again, I don't know.
Thanks for sharing the videos. I have not watched them all and intend on watching more of them.
Wonderfully put...and outstanding with the use of a map for the comprehension of your point. When I first read that in the book, it was like some new reality had shown itself.
Now I am not sure, because I know some of the gist of Eastern Mysticism. But, is it safe to draw assumption it has everything to do with experiencing...and as Usha puts it, not with your eyes and ears? I would also add, not with the conscience mind also?
Gra....not getting carried away at all. That is also a real concern. They are talking about removing the ability to write from schools. In addition, I go to a lot of places where younger employees are working and they cannot figure out simple mathematics for change without some sort of digital device. Thanks very much for the title and about the lecture. I have written that down as well. I would like to look into that.
I agree. I made a reference to your statement in my response to Robbie. I am not exactly sure what it is...but I certainly feel there was something very special about Tesla. Thanks for bringing up his name.
I feel we each have our own destiny. Apparently, you chose the route you did for a reason. It sounds like it was something you personally were comfortable with....but maybe on a deeper level, it served a purpose nobody can quite put a finger on. ....and I mean that in a good way.
Isn't that something, there is as many personalities out there as there are people.
In the beginning part, they wrote about the Western belief in a God...looking down upon us and essentially the creator of everything. This was able to happen because Christian religion removed philosophy and science from their standards of being. That is precisely why Galileo was not looked upon fondly by the church.
Eastern mysticism holds that everything has movements. I think it was Gypsy down below who believed everything is vibration. That is true, to it most finite existence everything is moving. (therefore nothing is ever the same) But the question is, what is controlling that movement? From what I understand so far, instead of God looking down upon us from heaven, Eastern mysticism has it that "God", if you will, is within everything and everything, including life, is part of one and the same. I think..anyway. Have to read more. :)
I just think with how we have been taught to live, including the fact that we use such a small portion of our brains currently, there is known to the select few, a way to become more..as they would call it, "enlightened."
But with the so-called knowledge we think we have now, we are pretty much the equivalent to cattle...maybe sheep.
Thanks Robbie
Oh yeah...another thing they say about the Western way of living, it is a good way for egos to develop.
Interesting. The book mentions two different kinds of knowledge. There is relative knowledge and absolute knowledge. The West and most of the planet use relative, while eastern are familiar with absolute. They claim meditation, yoga, etc...can lead you to the enlightenment of absolute.
I really do not know, but I suspect that the use of such a small percentage of our brain capacity has a reason.
Well Ash, I have your first one under wraps. Look but don't touch, leads me back to my...... Ahhhh, I think I have it under wraps. I know it is not to cheeseburgers because that is the second one.
Okay, lets move on to your second one.
If a woman is wearing red and she spills catsoup on it, did she really spill catsoup on it?
finally uncovered the real message behind Ash's message. All I had to do is put her in the spotlight. ...old trick I learned when I was reading the famous birds/wasps book.
Well Ash...let's put a little serious attention to your message behind the message.
What sense would I trust the most...
my smeller is okay my toucher is just fine my eyes have deceived my hearing is sketchy my expanding appendage is perfect
You know what really gets me going the most are my lying eyes....unfortunately.
but....
if commonsense were a sense, I would trust that the most.
feminism
Cc...I would say listen to your guy friends. It sounds like they know what they are talking about.
