The island pacific is referring to is still pretty much intact and untouched from the outside world. It is so far from the main island and ships (as forms of transportation) only goes there once or twice a month....

Jim, I know they are not evil
but I just can't stand them.
I remembered vividly when I was around 10,
I cleared the grass behind my parent's yard
(to plant cabbages) and out crawled a snake.
I stood up right away. I felt dizzy and went blank - total darkness, just couldn't see for a few seconds and then
ran back right into the house as though I had
been chased by a ghost....but if I see one in the river,
I don't get scared cos all I see is the head popping out of the water..

hey, ma hem olsem bifo - no change yet...that oloketa bot rarely go lo dea. Man, mi tingse nao dat with the a lot of changes now, things should be a bit different especially with transportation to these really remote islands....

Aswina, so good to hear you had much fun with your daughter. I'm spending my weekend out on my farm
