Thanks for sharing, Jim. Have the same principals here, If we can make money from other sources, why not? I have done little business here and there. Besides teaching and running my farm, I alos do little sales. The best that I've got so far was acting as a right hand person for a friend of mine as an Insurance Agent and find customers for her. The commission I get from this pays for our medical, life and education insurance and I still get to enjoy some of it. I also sell bags, shoes, clothes that were offered on discounts and I sell for twice the price once the discount is over. SOmetimes, I sell to my friends on credit at different prices. I have tried the multi level marketing thingy but didn't work out well so quit it. I have never done any business on line - a bit interesting to find out - I was a bit skeptic about them so never bothered to try -
Wearing rubber boots with socks in a humid climate like mine here surely brings in some kind of pungent smell - that kitty of yours will faint once it gets near it..

and my wish is - my two boys could come home to spend Christmas together. This is going to be the first time my boys are not going to be with me for XMAS so please plead with your genie to do me that favor....
Looks like a typical women's night out where the topic is nothing more than the beloved darlings who were probably babysitting at home and their women were out on a drinking and gossiping spree...
I love that kinda job back in the 80's, I did a lot of freelancing job (back in the islands) where I had to travel around our town, island to island and even to Brisbane on and off - In my 40's now, I'm more of a home person now.....work and back to base - home
Hi Amia, Maybe I'll take up this manly task of being a hunter and start hunting. Gees, I do need an arrow incase I come some pretty ferocious ones'...just a joke
You know honey, sometimes I wonder why it is so difficult for parents to air out their differences and make up with each other again. I've never been in a situation like that. My parents were never divorced and I would never dream of going through that either.
Jim, I went to the state prison here with some members from our church to have fellowship with the inmates. The sad part of it was there were so many young boys...must be in their 17s' and up. I felt so sad walking out from that place and wondering what life would be like for them.....
Hi honey, The children are the ones' who are victimized. I've seen a case similar to yours in my school, a father giving orders not to allow the mother to see the children - 7th and 9th year old's. And I went a bit further and asked the 9th year old daughter about her feelings for her mother and father. The kid loved both parents so much but is totally torn in the middle cos the father had been bad mouthing her mom to her... Very sad.....
Hi Jim, The weekend for me was great. Did something good today - went and fellowshipped at one of the state prisoners here in my town. My heart bleeds to see so many very very young guys in there.... ANyway, have fun canoeing and hope you come up with more beautiful snapshots to show us....
