I sympathize with you. It has been an extremely hard, cold winter here also! I live alone! The best thing I can think of is to go someplace warm and hangout for a while. Go to the beach, fish or whatever you like doing! Keep busy and before you know it, it will be spring! By the way, it is supposed to be 42 degrees here on Monday so it is going to warm up a bit next week! Hang in there!

You know what you saw and experienced! I had a similar experience when I had heart bypass surgery. I had cardiac arrest and was dead for more than 10 minutes until I was revived. I experienced something similar.

GoDan....I agree with you. I firmly believe there is a heaven, where we spend eternity with God, and a hell for the people who do not believe or want God in their lives!

15 years ago, I had cardiac arrest during heart bypass surgery! While I was dead, I met Jesus! I won't expound on what transpired but let's just say it was a wonderful experience! He gave me a choice to go home with Him or return here! I decided to come back here! I won't give my reasons here!

For you people who don't believe in guns, I hope you are never put in a position where you need one to protect your love ones or friends! I don't physically carry a gun on myself! I keep one in my home for protection! About 22 yrs ago, I was driving at night in the high desert of California! A car load of "punks" pulled up along side of me and tried to run me off the road! If they had been successful, I probably wouldn't be here today! After that incident, I purchased a 9mm which is very accurate! I fired expert in the Marine Corps with a pistol and rifle!

In Obama's hometown of Chicago, last year they had 500+ homicides!

I think if u feel u do not want to carry a gun, then something is better than nothing! Personally, i feel more secure with a gun! I am well trained in the use of different weapons! There is a saying which I believe is very true: "when guns are outlawed; only outlaws have guns"! City of Chicago is a very good example! It is classified as a "gun free zone" which is only an invitation for the criminals to have guns there! Case in point....Chicago is the murder capitol of the USA!
