Nam my friend, I am very sorry to hear this about your friend! Tragic that the first doctor didn't catch this! Yes, 2nd and 3rd opinions are essential when you have that kind of pain!
Hi Mimi, I am happy you had a very nice trip! Nice pics. Yes, the Japanese people are very nice. I like their culture. I have a good friend who lives in the same town as I, who is from Japan. maybe you will get your wish and get to go back for a vacation.
The food looks good. Did you drink any Saki while you were there?
Mic, I read 2 yrs ago that obama would declare martial law before the 2016 elections. If he does, the revolution in our country will start. The civilian army is much larger than his!
The man, Thomas Duncan who had Ebola, from Liberia, Africa, died 2 days ago in a Houston or Dallas hospital. Where is the leadership in this country when they don't recognize a serious threat to the American people and the rest of the world. One of the police officer who visited Duncan's apt and came in contact with his family supposedly has contracted ebola. Where is this all going to end?
Smarty, I agree with you on the children. These African nations get lots of financial help from different countries and sources(charities). There govts pass very little on to the people of their country. Case in point: UNICEF. Many years ago, I read about them. They are very corrupt. Very little of what they collect actually gets into the hands of the people.
As far as euthanizing animals, I'm not sure how I feel about that.
BC, what a great story! Sorry it ended that way! Sometimes we do not realize that we only have one chance to tell someone about the love of Jesus for us! We should witness to as many people as possible!
What is amazing about pumkinhead is, when he was first approached by the US Coast Guard, he refused them. Then after 77 miles at sea, he realized he couldn't make it so he contacts USCG. What an idiot. The news talked about the cost of the rescue. In the $1000 and $1000. The govt should make him pay for this little stunt!
Mic, you sound like quite the gourmet cook! Like you, I live in Wisconsin. Maybe we should get together and try that turkey? It doesn't have to be on Thanksgiving. I'll bring some of my "special chili"!
Excellent blog. How very true what you have said! One of the greatest fears is, "the fear of failing". This has stopped many, many people from being great achievers! JMO

Thank you lovely ladies!
