Hi KemChi, you still sound and look to me as a very positive person. I am sorry to hear about your painful experience but as we say: You can't do something nice by force. So, choose the lesser evil. The path which will lead you to happiness. Everything that worries you and hurts you (regarding relationships) should be removed of your life. You put all your efforts but it's blocking your love life right now.
That's why I would always keep a healthy distance with exes! If they were not good enough to be with them why should I get messed with them anymore? Just more problems and confusions...
Better get focused on that great man "the apple" (I like the way you called him!) and don't look back!
P.S. You can use the ready-made phrases in the "flowers" options or just say Hello!, something like that... If the woman gets interested in your profile it would be enough for her to reply...
Jack, I used to chat a lot a couple of years ago but not anymore. It needs a lot of time and full concentration on the talk (when I chat with someone I respect them enough not to do other things). So I only chat with people who have passed the "filter" of a long enough email correspondence and even then I would chat something like once a week, not more.
About these people who want a pen pal but not chatting, I can understand them. Emailing and chatting are actually two different ways of interacting.
