thank you for sharing your story. But have you met Nessa in person? I had that passionate relationship over emails and phone, but when we met, no chemistry... it seemed we had our own version of how we would like the other party to be... and when we did meet, we were with a different person than whom we had in mind. there you go, another challenge: expectation.

Hi Choco,

I have not been lucky this weekend. It was snowy and windy and cold, minus 3 degrees. But on Saturday I managed to go to a museum which was used to be where a great Icelandic writer lived, Halldor Laxness. It was interesting to see where he lived and wrote, especially the 25 minutes audio guide gave some insight of how he lived including his writing routine. Kinda inspiring as I have always wanted to live like that, doing nothing but write. Then I went to this giant candy shop which only sells candy, chocolate and jelly candy, I went crazy and bought 2,5 kilos for my kids, bad, bad mom! (it's not packed but sold in ons, so we put everything we want in a bag and they will scale it). Then I went to a building in a hill, where we can see the whole Reykjavik from above, it was beautiful, sun was shining, bright sky, but I could not stand the wind and it's minus 3 though there was sun! So I only went out to take picture and went back inside in a sec.

Sunday was worse, it was snowy and they expected some storm, so I just stayed home, but managed to went out for dinner and movie, Cloud Atlas. It's epic with interesting premise about human being and their destiny. A bit too many things going on, I got lost watching it since its subtitle was in Icelandic, and English was not my first language, but the great ansamble of casts made it interesting to watch.

And this morning, the wind is so strong it's like a giant whistle, guess I'll have to stay at home again on my last day here. Probably doing the laundry

When you love someone, I don't think you have any intention to hurt him/her. But there's always something that can come along the way, something beyond your control, or maybe things happen, feeling change, which in the end made one of the party decide to call off or take another road. That is what I mean. Like when you were in your last relationship, did you ever think he would eventually ended it? Or he planned to end it? I don't think so. But things happen and the rest... we all know... it will hurt in the beginning but life goes on, especially when we finally realize it is for the best. Correct me if I am wrong.

I have met my previous partner in another site, it did not work. Now I met my partner this site. All I can say, no matter how you meet, online or in real, relationship do need an effort. Just be patient and don't give up.

I forgot about asian mom. mine is a very good cook, but she loves seeing me eating and never asks me to stop eating, because she enjoys is when I eat her cook, she just asks me to start exercising

kuddos to fun light blogs you know my secret: eat small portion, couple of times, my plate will be 1/4 of (carbo, veg, fruits, protein), lots of water every day, no soft drinks, less sugar and salt. In the last 10 years I had 2 more kids and only gained 3 kilos
