It's all a matter of perception and on the quality of the photo. If you had a professional photograph take your picture, you probably would look in a favorable way.
But this is all superficial, it doesn't show the true soul of a person.
I don't think that looking at his diary is right. Better talk with him and let him know that you noticed a change in his mood. Maybe he'll talk about it, if not, the door is open for him to confide in you. Teens may think that adults won't understand their problems. If you feel that his behavior is extreme and he could hurt himself, then I believe it would be justified to read it. I am not a health professional, it is my own opinion based on the situation that you explained.
You demise will not be in vain, you'll have the satisfaction to know that your skin will adorn a beautiful lady while you'll be simmering in a Burgundy wine.
Sorry to burst your bubble. If there was pure justice from Allah, he would let some morons running around killing in his name. And I sure hope that he will not have mercy on them. I would say it is blasphemy to speak is name in vain and assuming that they have his approval. Most likely, a nice place will be waiting for them in Hell, if such a place exist. You have my respect for Allah, but not what you are saying.
Akira Kurosawa is my favorite movie maker. A recent one made from his screen play is Ame agaru, 1999. Very nice story. I like Toshirô Mifune and Tatsuya Nakadai as actors.
Now it is difficult to find great movies, English or Japanese.
The role of women in Japanese society must have changed drastically from the old days. I never lived in Japan and it easy to get a false impression from historical movies. From what I've seen in person, the Japanese woman is comfortable in her role. It might be some of the men who might need to evolve.
Angil, you are right in trying to make a difference. Sometime it is not a question of money. It is a question of politic. Someone said, "when you don't have food on the table, it is politic". Some country politicians thrives on the bleeding hearts of the world. But the poor do not see that by procreating large families, they won't be able to feed them. It is impossible to say don't have any children. When I say no money, it means writing to the politicians to change policies and remind them that the world is watching. Getting in touch with the medias, setting up your own website. The great thing about you is that you are not playing the culpability card. I would say go ahead and try to make the world a better place. If Mother Theresa or Gandhi listened to the negative people, nothing would have been done!
It is horrible to think of what happen to this boy. Most governments know what's going on and ignore it until the international press get hold of it. Few years back, I read that a very young boy in servitude was torched by the owner of the silk factory in India because he wanted to leave. I sent a email to one of the ministers and I can tell you that I wasn't too kind about it. When people hear of such events, it is our responsibility as human being to send emails, write to their government.
I suppose you mean my connection? Well, I don't have too many problems. Pretty fast since it is a large city, I would say. I use OVH. Firefox, Adblock, I clear my cookies and cache once in a while and my Temp folder.
