Hi AustralianGirlAU, I didn't hear about this movie. I am glad you enjoyed it. It appears to have good reviews from viewers. Personally, I am not much into recent French movies. However, there is always an exception. I would rather watch Cyrano, All the morning of the world or some Australian movies. Australian movies are more honest in my opinion.

Hi Aisha, I tend to agree with Ed. Some older people do not want to appear as boring and being regarded as couch potatoes. When they have to compete and they try to relate to a younger person, they might tend to use this expression. Now, if they go over the top in trying to impress with being foolish, IMO, this is another story.
