I retired early as I had this fear that I would croak early and I wouldn't be able to collect my fair share of benefits from the government. I will try to live as long as possible for that reason.
I remember a while back NMT had a problem with someone. If he kept at it long enough, she might have been deleted. But I have no other info. Too bad, nice lady.
As for SR, maybe she took a break from CS and GD. I know the feeling, someone passes you in the street talking to themselves and there is no phone.
As to previously deleted members, some show up in blogs with new profiles. Look around, free to spot in the myst.
Unfortunately, by retiring your getting paid to surf the net will be over.
But I understand the value of being home. You can surf while having a beer, eat, fall asleep in front of the screen or scream a in fit of madness while reading the posts on CS.
Don't give up Momo. You have to be strong and show that you will not be intimidated. Many on CS have a good heart, they will help you surmount your ordeals and help you. And don't bother with the one that upset you. Never anything good to say about anyone or anything.
No wonder you are separated or are you still married?

Quality makes a difference. When they figure they can make a better profit, they stop producing the product after so many years or sell you a smaller size for the same price. You get use to a name and a quality product and then you are left scrounging elsewhere for a replacement. Advertizing companies are not fond of older consumers, they know what they want and they have a difficult time trying to sell them a product of a lesser quality.
From what I understand, they are rebuilding the roads, investing in new constructions and trading for resources (oil, mining rights) in Africa.
They are not buying the forests in the EU, but buying property and some money making enterprises. I am sure they are not doing it through the kindness of their heart, but Africa is in dire need of cash and employment for the population. Over here, they buy in the wine making region and keep some of that industry going as to supply a population of 1.2 billion. This is an example. Before, it was the Japanese and before that it was the US. Tomorrow? Without export, the economic bubble of the EU would burst. You can only tax the few so far before the pockets are empty. The only two viable economies in the EU are the UK and Germany. China doesn't colonize, to them it's a business proposition. You may call it economic colonization, but they are the late comers in this game. Have a glass of Bordeaux while some is left.
RE: Well. You don't see that every day..
Hi Non,An impressing move. Reminds me of when they move historical houses, a kind a difficult when you have to go through small towns.
Too bad trees can't tell the stories they witnessed.
