Were they moving the old oak to an new location?...or using it for firewood?...either way it is a massive undertaking...to say the least!!

That is something else. You really get an idea of how big that tree is with the equipment around it. Good thing they moved it on a calm, non-windy day. :)

Interesting video, but err maybe they just wanted to move the shade, 'cause of the position of the sun in the afternoon and 'cause the people who owned the place moved their chairs around? lol
Which reminds me, Years ago, a friend of mine had a goal in mind, that he would be an Astronaut someday and travel to the Sun.
