"My reason to be is to help. The posting is an open offer. The price of Everything is nothing at all..."
Aren't we all here to help? We have all come to this planet by choice, and our greatest purpose is to "serve"...and spread unconditional love - which means without asking anything in return.
Solamente, "Is there a difference between loving someone, and being in love with someone"? .... a tremendous difference! You have obviously not been "in love" before, have you?
“When I am with you, we stay up all night. When you are not here, I can’ t go to sleep. Praise God for those two insomnias And the difference between them" (Rumi)
What about the ones who don't want to know about your future, don't particularly support your present - unless they are a part of it! - and only accept your past because they have no other choice? I have known some of those!
Ekself. ...."Are you supposed to share your past with your partner and then hope for his acceptance? I don't think so as I don't want to know anything that is not funny or interesting about my partners live before we met"...
I agree with you here. The past should stay where it belongs...in the past!
However, without telling our partner about our past, there are always certain things which are bound to come up in a conversation, and others which are also "anavoidable" (e.g.some family issues, financial problems, exes etc.) which we don't have to talk about, but we can't hide either...
Hello there! Of course men do feel love, only they are not very good at showing or expressing their feelings that's all. Of course there are exceptions, depending also on their level of oestrogen. And it is also often due to the amount of conditioning they have received from their mother as a child. e.g. "boys are not supposed to cry, they have to be hard" etc.
Hi everybody! All back in action hey? How many of you have been having "withdraw symptoms" I have missed the blogs, I must admit...and so many wonderful friends. Fortunately, we do connect on our private emails
Does anybody know what the failure ocurred???... I do!
Of course I know Scousey! I am only pulling your leg hahaha! By the way, since you like singing & dancing, Benidorm is great for that! Plenty of karaokes I also like that!
S n o b?? Moi, une snobe??? Did I write that on my profile' Why, do you think it is a luxury to want to live in a quiet and uncrowded place? It might sound like a "paradise" to anybody the place I have just described...It might not be the best place in the world but it is my own "little paradise"
I suppose for family holidays, as you say, it is the ideal! I got invited there once by someone who was holiday with the family. Now, I am retired and have no family here, and I enjoy the peace & quiet which is difficult to find anywhere in Spain, especially in the summer!
Ajkar.. We already have electric hair cutters here in Europe and USA - they are called "hair trimmers" with which you can shave all your hair off if you wish (and also other parts, legs etc.)
Scouse. Happy "ask min she is an english teacher?(hokey pokey)"... Thanks for the recommendation scousey! I don't teach the "hokey pokey" in the school. I have to give private lessons for that
Ken, Scouse doesn't live in Norway, but in Holland. , which is a bit nearer to Spain. Alternatively, when he finds the "perfect woman", maybe she'll be able to cut his hair as well (?)
I used my hairdressing skills with all the members of my family once... but they have all left me now!
Hi Scouse! Nice to see you back Ummm, let's see... Well, looking at your photo I would have done it for nothing And by doing so, maybe I would have attracted more customers commenting on a nice haircut!
Nice story Halv.! I am glad that you are a living proof that distance is no barrier for Love, and happy that you have found the "love of your life". Another fairy tale story with a nice ending
Nice also to see that there are indeed some nice and genuine men out there! See, ladies, do not despair!
Sometimes it is possible and I personally know some people who have
Do not give up!
Listen to the message of this old chinese proverb: "You can go and chase butterflies all day and never catch one. But, if you stand still for a minute, one will come and sit on your shoulders!"
I entirely agree with you! This "distance" problem is often used as an "obstacle" when they really mean they are not interested. It would be more honest to say "p..s off!
I think it is possible to block non-local members (?), I don't know as I am quite new on this site
Regarding distances, yes, they can be a bit of a bind sometimes (time and money involved etc.) but... where there is LOVE, there is no distance! If it is meant to be, Love will always find a way! And, not to forget, the Universe will conspire with us...
I have known many people going to other countries and even crossing oceans to be with their "soulmate", or someone they consider to be a compatible partner and the "One" and only... Love can get over any obstacle...
