RE: Seeking free advice

Prenge,
What are the titles of your books by the way?
Maybe you could arrange to go to various bookstores where they have your books for sale in the places you mention?dunno comfort

RE: Seeking free advice

Sorry, can't give you any advice, but wish you good luck!thumbs up
Also, remember me as I am the second person to respond to your blogangel

RE: Woman and money

Hi, I agree with Karina here.
I have struggled all my life with money problems - maybe it is my karma to get it right this time?

I have also attracted many people in my life who also have money problems and I haven't turned any man down because of his lack of money. In fact, the nicest guys I have had some good relationships with were practically broke!

Which just proves that if you are in love with someone, you are not in love with his wallet, but with his personality, his looks, the connection you feel with that person etc....
If he has money, well, that's an added bonus!

On the other hand, if I meet a man with money who wants to "spoil" me a bit, why not?
But, so far, the ones who have wanted to spend their money on me didn't do it from the heart and were certainly trying to buy Love.

Maybe the age has something to do with it?dunno
As one gets older, one gets also wiser and money and possessions are not so important. We are all in search of Love & affection... and some security too, of course.teddybear

RE: thought it would be easy

Before "finding", or "looking for" someone, first you have to make sure that the last relationship is over - physically and emotionally.comfort

As they say: "You must get rid of the Old before the New can come in".
You don't say how the last one ended?
Whatever it is, make sure you have a good clear up (house, and also emotions).
Good luck to you my friend!wave

RE: This is SO not cool!!!

Hello Kariena!
Well, I can understand your concern for your friend and how her daughter treats her.
I have three boys who I have brought up practically on my own and I know that it is not easy.

However, as you are asking for some advice, don't you think that it's the mother you should have a word with, and not the daughter?

I have known similar situations where the daughter is behaving like a rebellious little brat but... whose fault is it?
I realise that it must be hurtful for your friend, but she has to learn to say "NO" and put some limits.

The day I said NO to my youngest son, is the day that he walked out of my life saying he would never speak to me again...
Seven years later, he finally came to "his senses" and contacted me a few months ago.
He is now happily married with a one-year old little girl who I hope to meet one of these days and be re-united with the whole family.

It was indeed a hard lesson but...?hug teddybear

RE: thanks

Yes, it's true, you can meet some real nice and genuine people here on this site and myself I have met quite a few.

I also happen to have met my true love, my "twin soul" about 2 months ago and we have become inseparable. It's like a feeling of being "at home" at last.hug

Wish you the best with your search.teddybear

RE: Today is the 6th Anniversary

Congratulations dear Cailin. I am also proud to be a friend of yours.hug

There are many things that I would like to celebrate - important events in my life, re-union with friends and relatives, the day of my connection with the dolphins (last week) which was an incredible experience.... and, last but not least, the meeting of my "twin soul" which is for me the ultimate re-union in this life time.

As far as creativity is concerned, mine comes as morning inspirations given to me by spirit... lots and lots of writing...
and in many other forms (art, singing, dancing, creating new ideas etc.)cheering

I would like to add that I have always found my self in the lowest moments of my life, my strength in the darkest times... and Love when I was ready to open my heart.

I wish you all a happy Halloween and happiness in your life

RE: Red Is The Colour

Cat. Sorry, I forgot "danger"...
But, how can anyone feel any danger when they are being rescued by a nice strong passionate fireman?laugh

RE: Red Is The Colour

Cat. It makes sense, that's right! Why didn't anybody think of that before you came along?dunno

For me (and many others I suppose) the colour red means fire, blood, passion etc.
Maybe this is one of the reasons why women dream about firemen to rescue them and give them a "fireman's lift"...dancing wave cheering

RE: Buongiorno, Good morning ,bonjour....

Good morning, Bonjour, Guten Tag, Buenos Dias... to you all!hug

I start my morning with a glass of honey & cinamon mixed in hot water with a slice of lemon (good for arthritis!)... followed by a glass of Alpiste (canary seeds) milk - best source of protein, good for lowering cholesterol and blood pressure + many other properties...
I then have a nice cup of Earl Grey tea (decaf) with a couple of slices of wholemeal bread and a banana (for potassium) and, not to forget, my Omega 3 capsules and my calcium/magnesium tablet and also my daily dose of Vitamin C.

This gives me enough energy to start my day... Temperatures are still in the 30sC here in Spain and like to spend a couple of hours on the beach in the afternoon.
Not bad, hey?dancing cool

RE: The Scars Of Life

Cat. I have realized that you were a teaser you know?
And so am I!cheers Maybe you get to know me too? hug
I also see you are a water sign - same as I am! Deep emotions, hey?

Anyway, I shall have to go and rest now. It is the end of my day and it's been very hot here in Spain.

RE: The Scars Of Life

Sorry, I meant "Energy flows where attention goes"doh heart wings

RE: The Scars Of Life

Cat.
"She knows that I don't like it. So why keep at it.?"
confused

Maybe you should try some "reverse" psychology here, my friend.
Maybe she just does it to "annoy" you, or to "provoke" a reactiondunno
In which case she has won! She's got you all worked up, giving her your full attention by writing a blog about it.

Remember, energy goes where attention flows!

Just agree with her, whatever she says, and keep smiling!comfort But, DO NOT REACT!
When you stop reacting, you will see her attitude change.hug

RE: The Scars Of Life

Cat.
Maybe this woman doesn't need any plumberdunno Maybe she is after you?
She wants YOU to fix her leaky taps...? You should take this as a compliment!wave heart wings

RE: The Scars Of Life

Sorry Daniel. I meant hearing aids, not heads!doh
I think I am beginning to lose my head with this whole issue laugh

RE: The Scars Of Life

Cat."I have all the answers. Unfortuanately it is the questions I don't understand yet"...

..."counselling does not remove the problem; it merely helps you to cope with it. Sometimes these scars stem from our childhood. I have such a hang-up too".
..."it would appear that I’m attracted by such women. Missing my mother?"

These two statements just prove that you know exactly what's the matter with you
scold

and you just wanted it confirmed.hug teddybear

RE: The Scars Of Life

Daniel.
"The best thing to have to stop a nag is an expensive pair of hearing aids"

But if Cat wears hearing heads, it will amplify the sound and not stop it! ::doh:
Now, if you mean headphones in order not to hear the nagging, then he will be giving the women the "silent" treatment, which women do not like...???doh comfort

RE: The Scars Of Life

Cat.
..."you are sending wrong signals.."

dunno

Another shrink here for you, you see!
No, I think Cat is sending the right signals... He has attracted 2 psychologists so far...professor wave

RE: The Scars Of Life

Good one Welela!
"I need a man who does not give me the silence treatment". thumbs up hug

RE: Has anyone ever met anyone on this site

Thanks Maddie & Virgo. I'll keep you postedthumbs up teddybear

RE: The Scars Of Life

Good morning Cat!

..." it would appear that I’m attracted by such women." ??? dunno
..."just maybe I become such a bore after a while that the ladies start nagging on purpose to get rid of me! "

You don't really need to see a shrink as you already have the answers, no?wave
Maybe deep down in your subconscious there is a part of you which missed the "nagging" - yes, the Mother!
And this maybe the reason why you are attracting such women in your life ?dunno

You definetly need to work on your "mother issue", in order to erase this destructive pattern.doh

RE: Has anyone ever met anyone on this site

Hello Maddie.
Do not despair! There are some interesting people on this site. Maybe they are just hiding, or maybe they are as scared as you are???

I have met quite a few people on this site - some have met only a couple of times, some have remained friends, and I met this wonderful guy only a while ago. We just have to wait and see how things develop...

RE: What Do We Want in Our Partner?

My dear Cailin. I agree with you entirely.hug
Why settle for second best when you can have the best?thumbs up
Something "sacred", ummm... sounds good to me too!

"Once I get my hands on that man, he's gonna be useless to any other woman. Spoil, SPOIL, SPOIL"
ha ha ha!!!laugh banana
I think that I have found such a man. He is in fact the one who is spoiling me for other men!angel heart wings

RE: Politics Defined

Zman.
"... suspect you'd have to do some serious palm greasing to get a position like that..."

I suppose so, but you are as good looking as Zapatero. You never know your luck.

Anyway, I'll just follow my voices and leave this planetangel
I'll be watching you all from aboveangel2

RE: Politics Defined
