If we could go back in time, with the experience, knowledge and wisdom we have acquired, then we could change everything and our life would be completely different now...

However, if we had the power to change everything, correct the mistakes we made along the way etc., how on earth would we have gained the experience, learned the lessons from the mistakes and have grown wiser because of it?

All our past is exactely how it was mean to be, (apart from a few distractions along the road, sometimes taking the wrong turning at some crossroads?, it was pre-planned before we came on earth.
Therefore, the past cannot be changed, or it will affect your future - which was also pre-planned.
Same as you cannot change history!

Enjoy the ride, even if it is bumpy at times, and be prepared to take risks! That's life is all about...

Well, when I used to go to work I hated mondays...

When I stopped work and my children used to go to school, I loved mondays as I could have some time for myself...

And now that I am retired, I don't really care what day it is as all days are the same to me - all filled with joy, surprises etc. - and I am grateful every day for being alive and well. It's a great day!

Hi. That's right, I use the same technique as Virgo. First, block all the countries outside your own.
Then, the ones who are writing to you wanting to "know you better", tell them to get on the blogs...
That also puts people off as they can't be bothered! I can assure you that the genuine ones, the ones who are really interested in you, will look at your blogs and will make private contact afterwards...

I have noticed that many people have looked at my profile - even some 30-year olds and people from all over the world.
I don't expect them to write to me and, even if they did, what on earth should I tell them?

As for "forgetting", it depends what it is you wish to forget?
Forgetting what they have said or have done to you, Yes,it's true that if you have forgiven them, you should also be able to forget and put it all behind, in the past, where it belongs.

However, "remembering" the good times you had, it is somewhat harder..., but it also belong in the past, otherwise it will drag you down and stop you from moving on...
These are called "emotional attachments" (whether good, or bad!).
Only Love is real...

Inxs. I agree with anyone else here so far. It looks as if you have loved her a lot more that she did and gave so much into this relationship that it was not reciprocated.

Don't you think that it was a bit more an "obsession" on your part and you have also and she has been playing on your feelings?

She has obviously moved on with her life and I suggest you do the same. But you must also "cut" all emotional cords/attachments that you have with her, otherwise you will still be "tied" with her and will be unable to move on with your own life.
I know, it will take a while, but don't give up and keep your heart open as I am sure that someone better is in store for you, somewhere?

Oh, Cailin... How all this resonates with me!
First, let me explain here for people who cannot differentiate between "soul mates" and "twin flames".
We have several soul mates during the course of our life with whom we have made some "soul contract" before our incarnation.
These soul mates can be a friend, a family member, someone of the same gender etc.
They are here to teach us lessons and may not always be the romance that we expect. Some are only here for a short time, while some others for longer periods.
The majority of them might be some unresolved karma that we have with them.
When the karma is done, and the lesson is learned, then they go out of our life.

However, the "twin flame", well... is our ultimate relationship. The twin completes us in every way and helps us to balance the Yin and Yang (masculine and feminine).
When we finally meet our twin, we can then ascend together as the search is over.
Up till recent years, it was almost impossible to meet our twin in a physical body as he/she was always on another dimension helping us to balance the energies.

But now, as more and more people are becoming "enlightened" more are now meeting their twin.

However, because they are just like us, they also mirror all our unresolved issues, and the relationship is not going to be as smooth as one may think!

At first, they will be this "recognition" at the soul level. Then they will be a love "beyond the stars" at the heart level and the physical.
Then, unfortunately, there will a period of adjustment which is not going to be easy... Then the arguments begin...
Then... a period of separation where one of the twins must leave the relationship because he/she is overwhelmed by it and cannot cope with it.

This is the stage I am now with my "twin"...

The good news is: if you are both more or less on the same evolution level and dimensional, things will be sorted out eventually and there will be a final reunion... happy forever...

I would also like to add that if you have had some very hard karmic soul mate relationship (like I had a few months ago, followed by my heart attack), then this has opened your heart for "unconditional" love and you will be attracting your twin as you will be ready for this soul re-union, your other half.

I don't think that people have lost the "art" of listening but, when there is so much information to process, sometimes our brain cannot cope with it all.
We end up doing "selective" listening, as we do for reading, using the skills: understanding the gist of the conversation, scanning, skimming etc.

Bambiena. If it makes you feel any better, I have been living here in Spain for the last 13 years with no family whatsoever, but I have made wonderful friends.
The worst for me is the Christmas period when all my friends are spending their time with their family (mine being scattered in various parts of Europe).

At first I used to feel miserable, sad, unhappy and depressed and feeling sorry for myself.
But, as the years went by, I realized that I was not the only one in this situation and I had plenty of things to share with others who were worse off than I was.

I started helping others and do some voluntary work, sharing my food with people who were hungry, providing some company and laughter to those who were sad and lonely etc.
And this was the most rewarding things in my life - to be able to make a difference in this world!

Remember, we are never alone! We are all united and are all ONE!

This year, my best Christmas present is coming: my youngest son whom I haven't seen for 7 years (he lives in England) has invited to spend it with them and I will have the chance to see my first granddaughter who is now 16 months old!

As you can see Bambiena, as long as there is life, there is hope... And as long as there is love in your heart, you soul will always be fulfilled.

It will take a while before you feel any better - at least a few weeks!
All you will feel at first will be "withdrawal" symptoms, such as: tiredness, maybe headaches, stomach cramp, frustration, anger etc.. as all your emotional issues and the toxins are being released.

The 12-km walk a day maybe a bit excessive if you are not used to it, no?
You should start slowly with exercise, and with diet too. Otherwise it will be too much of a shock on the nervous system - believe me, I have done it!

But, perseverance is the key.

It has been proven that a dog will know his owner is coming on, not because of the time, but just the thought... From the moment you think about your dog (coming home or feeding), the dog picks up your thought automatically.
This is to do with the "morphic field" or, like Carl Jung called it: "the collective consciousness" - you can check up on this.

Well... that's an interesting question?
My name is a spiritual name which represents what it says: the goddess of wisdom, and 88 being infinity.
That's me, and I can identify with that name.
But my real spiritual name "chakaruna" is a name which was given to me by spirit, meaning a "bridge" person - which is also what I am, or what I do.

Since I can identify myself with both names, I wanted to use one of the two for the site, and the other for my personal emails and skype contacts.
