Barely intelligent on Earth, yes comment seconded. BUT doesn't that mean Intelligent life MAY be more likely to exist, because we are less so..................
Anyway, If it was only us, it would be an awful waste of Space!
Due to the Immense Size of our Universe, Alien Life most probably exists, within it. I figure it is too diffuse for our current technology to detect it. I may also be undetectable, due to light, radio signals not reaching Earth yet. Indeed, from the far corners of our Universe, such signals will never reach us.............
(furthermore)..... An Abstract Idea, called itself "Jesus" (By proxy); and Not Only That, it called itself "Jesus" (by proxy), retrospectively; - the accepted timeframe being roughly 300 years.......
This leads me to some observations about the "actual" Jesus;
Firstly people say that Jesus must have existed, because a bloke answering to that description yelled out some things on the Cross (whilst being crucified). This (as and of itself) proves absolutely nothing. The Romans Crucified 1000's of people; and If you or I were one of those people, then we would be yelling out all sorts of things too (and they did).
Yes, that's right folks: Jesus may never have existed. In which case an abstract idea called itself "Jesus" by proxy; which was rather the case, I suspect....
I'm not shouting, jac. I get the impression that you may have read too much Philosophy, and are splitting various philosophical concepts into ever finer and more obtuse ideas.
Furthermore, this "God the fella" (idea) has done untold damage down through the centuries, and (moreover) continues to do so today....
So you see, jac, this "God the fella" is only a terribly destructive idea, that some people have......and that is all that this God the fella is (an abstract concept)........
It is time we divested ourselves of such destructive, and fearful thinking, and treated it as it really is: A relic of the past.......
