If I took taxpayer's money under false pretenses (allegedly) they would throw me in jail quicker than I could wink, but Apparently, it's perfectly OK for these mongrels.......
I love driving on road trips, (new places/roads/countries, etc). Sydney driving/traffic, much less so. I don't have a car atm, and don't really miss it....
I was talking to a lady once, who told me she (willingly) forfeited her licence (handed it in herself); because driving made her "extremely nervous", and she could not overcome this...
Over years I have had 2 car accidents. One was bad for expenses (mine); and the other one was bad for an injury (mine - since recovered, some scars). Does this make me reluctant or nervous to drive - no way!
Can't you get your confidence back, to start driving again? Are the nerves that bad? Are you waiting for Self Driving Cars?..........
